These outdoor lights at the price point offered have been perfect. Really highlight the front of my home with large wreaths hanging in all windows. Grandson also loves changing the colors back and forth too!I may buy some additional ones for next year to highlight sides of home.

Used these spotlights over Halloween to light up our 12' tall skeleton and they worked great. Only complaint I have is the bracket that the lights are mounted to that the stake mounts to, is very weak, I bent it very easily just trying to push it into the ground.

I like the spotlights in general....they are pretty weatherproof. I have several and over the course of 3 years only one has had water leak inside. I would recommend these lights...they are great for the money.

I'm using these to "spotlight" some Christmas decorations on our home. These are more like a small flood light and not a pinpoint/spotlight and not very bright. Against the house you could barely tell the difference b/w the red and green because they were that so diffuse even in the darkest night. I had two actual spotlights that were very focused and bright but I broke them last year removing them from the frozen ground after Christmas. So if you want a bright, colorful, focused beam, these are not it.

The first item I ran into is that I needed to play with the remote a bit before it switched the the color I wanted. Maybe I needed to wait for it to power up completely and cycle colors... I don't know. There's no manual so while it shouldn't be hard to figure out yourself, that is exactly what you will have to do.The other issue I had was with the mounting hardware. The stake and bracket are held together with a screw, so you will need a philips head to tighten it. Minor issue, the the light this was replacing had the threaded screw attached to the stake. Bigger issue is to be careful pushing the stake into the ground. The mounting bracket is thin metal and bent easily when I hit a hard spot in the soil.Otherwise, once it is in the ground and plugged in, it seems to work very nicely. I am using static color at the moment, but it looks like there are a range of options.

These lights are really well made and look great. Great compact size with an optional ground spike. I love the selectable colours. I installed one as an outdoor accent light and one to light up my outside stairs. I use the remote to conveniently turn them on & off from indoors. I wish the power cord was a bit longer but not a big deal.

This is a joke for an outdoor light, it is not waterproof! Every time it rains it fills up with water and needs the front lens removed to empty the water and after that it usually won't work for a week. After emptying water for 3 months it now doesn't work at all. Don't waste your money, it's garbage!

I set this up yesterday and we got up early to have our coffee by our new pond and rock garden. There are various settings to fade the colours or have them in more of a blinking fashion. I wondered when I purchased the lights whether the beam would be strong enough to allow me to tuck the light fixture out of sight and still illuminate the rock garden. It surprised me to see that the light shone from a good distance away (about 9 ft). Perfect! I can't wait to set the other one up to illuminate the Japanese euonymus tree and water feature. I had received a submersible battery operated light with similar effects - the two lights complimented one another quite well. Just make sure you purchase OUTDOOR extension cords as it comes with a very short cord and it's best not to place the light or extension cord near water.

I bought two of these earlier this year. I've only recently put them outside and have tested them indoors a few times.The lights themselves are great. They work well. But the remotes only worked for a handful of times. Now the lights are useless without them. When the remotes were working, I was not able to use them from inside when the light is outside. I had to be up close to the light to use the remote.
