Just trust me okay -- the product is top line
I am 89 years old and have been using Cross pens for longer than I can honestly say. Cross pens are fantastic, reliable, superior quality et al.

Good quality, fair price.
My husband loved Cross pens for many years. We were happy to find that we could order refills for those pens on Amazon. I hope that continues to be true. I carry and use a Cross pen that I treasure. I was happy to get these refills. They work just fine, and write smoothly.

Disappointing for a Cross
Write a bit scratchy, ink doesn’t flow quite as smoothly as my Parkers and the black isn't as dark. Kind of disappointed as I got some beautiful gold Cross pens from my grandfather and I wanted to start using them again, but I really don't care for how they write.

REAL Cross refills
Amazon is one of the few places that you can still find these refills.

Good price.
Great fine point. A bit tricky to figure how to load, but really nice feel to the pen. I had some issues with delivery of the wrong product, but it was easily and quickly resolved. Good price for a refill.

Refills Work Well - no skip etc
Unlike the blue refills I ordered, these work well. No skipping with the refills. These were fine refills and they worked unless I tilted the pen too far back. The line thinness is ok but not great. The medium refills lay down more ink and a much larger [wider] line IMO. I like fine tipped pens, like .38 Pilot G-2, and these Cross refills put down a wider line than that and the Cross doesn’t feel quite as smooth. Nonetheless, the Cross is heavier and has better balance & is easier to write with over a long period of time. So, 5 stars.
