My son wanted to be a bat. He just turned 8 and we got him the 9-11 which fits perfectly. He is a bit tall for his age but I don’t think that made a hug difference. Material is a bit thin but not too bad as we live in Az. He can easily wear over clothes so if you’re in a colder state this is probably a good thing.

My grandson was so cute in this for Halloween. We got the 5-6 size. He is four years old and it fit perfectly. Thick enough to be warmer for cold. The wings are cute. He loved “flying” around in this. I don’t know if everyone knew what he was, but he was happy so that’s all that mattered. Good quality.
