I LOVE this gate! I use it for dog gates on my stairs. So very easy to install and no ‘falling out of the wall’ like my last screw on type gate. Best gate ever invented!!! Easy swing open and self closing, fits perfectly on my first step to keep bottom of stairway clear. Easy push button to open. Enough space between gate and fixed rail for my petite cat to walk through. May not be wide enough for a larger cat. My cat is 6 lbs. looks sharp in the house. Nice metal instead of the plastic types.

Love this gate! We have small doorways and this has been the only baby gate that fits. It’s auto-close and we’ve had no issues with that function either, so it’s been a plus. It’s also the only baby gate my 2 year old hasn’t figured out how to open. When you open the box, the latch has a huge gap, but there’s an attached warning that it’s supposed to be that way so that when you pressure mount it, it lines up correctly.

Love this gate because it is easy to install, very sturdy and easy to operate. Like the feature that the gate will stay open when not in use. The gate opening is wider than some other gates and is perfect to secure our dog into the kitchen with her bed during our absence. Thank You Dreambaby for a great product!

Our laundry and work room have open doorways. We needed a gate to close them off when our small grandchildren came over. We wanted a gate we could leave up and open when they were not here. Most gates were too narrow to just walk through comfortably like an open doorway, this gate was perfect. The only problem was the bottom rail which we would end up kicking and stubbing toes on. A piece of red duck tape across the rail took care of that immediately. We have had the gate for almost 2 years and it gets a workout from 6 children under 5 years old who hang on it and rattle it wanting to get to the back room to play with all their grandfathers cool toys (tools).

I got the gate because the doorway that we were trying to block off was smaller than normal. The gate fit great! The pull back latch on the top of the gate is super strong, and at times too strong so be careful of your finger tips...After 2 months of use the internals for the latch broke. Took it apart and the only piece holding the latch in was a tiny sliver of plastic. Completely snapped off and left the gate in a locked position. The gate itself is still usable, just can't lock it. I feel like the internals should be made of better material, but other than that flaw it's a decent gate.

This was the only gate we could find that would fit an unusual narrow door way in our new house. Installing was a bit tricky. The pressure part that you twist was very hard to maneuver during installation. We had to use pliers. My favorite part is the easy close. When you tap it closed it doesn’t move the gate from the frame. We have other gates that we constantly have to adjust due to them moving when the gate is slammed. I do wish it came in more colors such and black or dark brown.

Where to start! This gate is quite a bit more than general baby gates and quite a bit cheaper than other self closing auto gates. For me that feature was the reason I forked out the extra $40. I wanted to be certain that the stair gate would always close with a slight push. These gates are not really automatic if that’s what you’re searching for. The idea behind them is the slight push and they are weighted so should close from that point. That slight pushed worked for a total of 3 days, approximately 20 closes. Then it would stick even with a good push. We double checked the install, everything was symmetric. Checked the walls to make sure they were symmetric and we could not find the reason. Now barely a few months later, the whole thing has fallen apart and if my daughter shakes it hard enough it can be pushed right open. The actually lock is weak in comparison to a different gate I purchased for my other set of stairs. The lesson that I got from this is that a self closing gate sounds awesome, but in the end isn’t really needed or worth the extra.

We have tried a number of different baby gates and this seems to work the best. It is easy to install and we like the two way open option. The entry way is also wide compared to some of the narrow gates out there. We also don't think our son will learn how to open this for some time, as we tried getting a 5 year old to open the gate as a test and they could not. The pressure mount vs a screw in gate is really nice. In total we have about five of these in our house. My only complaint is that they didn't have it in black to match the other 4 gates.
