Awesome Knife and Sharpener Combo Pack
This is a great bundle package at a good value price. The construction of the knife uses one of the heaviest slip-joint on the market and must be open with two hands. The blade itself is made from 440C stainless steel with a stone-wash finish on the grinds and a brush finish on the flats. As for the handle, it is made from fiberglass reinforce nylon and solid stone-wash finish steel liners. The handle also has a full steel backspace that extends pass the end with a cutout hole for lanyards but also can act as a glass breaker as well. The clip that comes with knife can be rearranged to the user’s need: left or right, tip up or down using a flat-head screwdriver. The rest of the other screws on the handle are Hex screw, which means it use an Allen wrench/Hex key. As for the blade sharpener, it comes with two pre-angled sides: tungsten carbide and ceramic rods. The Sharpening angles are pre-set at 22.5º to achieve a 45º inclusive angle. The long serrated ceramic side was design for small serration edges while the diamond-tapered rod can be use for fast reconditioning and maintenance. While it seems that many other customers were encountering things such as the knife being too heavy for EDC with needing to be skeletonize or that it is too bulky and hard to open. I find that these are compromises or small things that you could definitely overcome if you are looking for knife and sharpener bundled all in one package that is legal to carry in most countries. Overall, I think that this combo pack comes in at a great value for what you are getting when compared to buying the knife with sharpener separately and makes for a good EDC bundle.

LanskyWillumsen world slip joint
I’ll say this is a very robust knife. It’s not the lightest of pocket knives but it feels very sturdy. It has some heath to it. I don’t mind that it takes a little effort to open and close. This knife is not made for speed so if you know that going in then you will be fine with this knife. Even though it’s a slip joint it feels like it locks back even though technically it’s not. The grip is very nice. Sturdy. Big enough for my hand.

Definitely a great knife but I wouldn't use it for EDC
Definitely a great knife but I wouldn't use it for EDC. The weight is just ridiculously too much for an EDC. This might be good in a camping bag. I think they should have shaved some of the weight by skeletonizing the inner liner of this knife and by removing the useless "pummel" at the bottom. The slip joint is super strong and the knife feels great in your hand but the tip of the knife comes to a rounded point. Doesn't seem to mention that in the descriptions or show that in the pictures so I added my own close up.Like I said, still a great knife for a camping or bug out bag but definitely too heavy/bulky for EDC.The sharpener is really great, I would expect as much from lansky.

Ehhh, what can I say
Just bought it to own a edc legal just about everywhere. It’s bulky but wanted it for my collection. Impulse buy. Would probably ever only carry when traveling. Does have good enough resistance to use but only in emergencies.

First the product I actually intended to buy the sharpener ...
First the product I actually intended to buy the sharpener. It is ok for straightening a blade on the fly but I wouldn't actually call it a sharpener more of a blade field medic. The knife is short and fat which makes it quite the load on you pocked. Unless you have a pocket that you only put this knife in it will be crowded. It also open and closes hard so much that it could be dangerous. It also doesn't lock.

This is a very nice knife but it is not world legal be sure ...
This is a very nice knife but it is not world legal be sure to check local laws. You can NOT open this with one hand of course which is what you want, it also is very hard to close so there will be no accidental cutting your fingers while doing utility work. And the lanksy sharpeners have to be one of the best if not the best handheld sharpeners.

Good knife
I travel a lot and it's good to know I may have a knife that is acceptable in other parts of the country and the world. I understand it is not universally accepted world wide but it is close. The knife isn't all that pretty but it is functional and the small portable knife sharpener was an added bonus.

Nice Knife!
It's an all around nice knife. Good quality feel and sharp. I don't know how legal it actually is depending where you live but I still recommend it.
