Top Quality & Fit
I own four different styles of KEEN footwear, and this will be my third purchase of this particular style. As long as they keep making them, I will be a forever KEEN customer. I've read some of the other reviews and haven't had any issues whatsoever with poor quality and wearability. In fact, the opposite. I wear them daily to work, easily 9 months out of the year, and hike in them frequently--never had any issues with the soles giving out after a year or less, mine have lasted almost two years each time and they are rigorously tested. They are breathable, water proof and very comfortable to wear, even on hard surfaces. Note: they run true to size. Highly recommend! Love my KEEN's...

Very Supportive Arch with Good Stiffness and Cushion.
I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot and chronic ball-of-foot pain in my right. These shoes alleviated both conditions. I have no pain from either condition when wearing these shoes. I bought a second pair. The shoes are solidly made, very sturdy, with good cushion. They are roomy, with the caveat that I bought a wide. They provide solid arch support. Some might say the arch support is too severe. I feel the arch in my left foot, which is flatter than my right. At first, it seemed unpleasant, with what seemed a lateral ridge across my arch, but I decided to break the shoes in, and now the very supportive arch feels good. I'm very aware of it because it feels so good. The arch support in my right shoe is just right. I have no foot pain in these shoes. I wear a size 12, and the fit is perfect with a thick pair of socks. I even like the color. I bought hiking shoes to go hiking in Corsica. I will be wearing these, and I even intend to wear them in the airports.

My most comfortable shoes ever!
I’m an old retired guy who hikes a little but walks a lot. For years I’ve been wearing Merrill Moabs, both regular and waterproof, as my everyday, all-day shoes. and been generally happy with them. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed recently that my feet have spread out and gotten a little wider. So instead of my normal size 12, I tried both versions in size 12W, the wider versions. But they were too wide and not comfortable. I could never se3m to get the laces the right tightness. The waterproof version of the Moabs felt like an entirely different shoe and weren’t comfortable. So, after hearing about these Keens and their slightly more roomy toe box, I decided to try them. I’ve had them only about a week, but so far they are most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I just love how they feel. Just the right amount of stiffness and cushioning. It’s too soon to judge longevity, but they seem very well constructed. And a bonus I didn’t expect: The waterproof version of these Keens with “Keendry” seem to breathe much better than the waterproof version of Merrells Moab 3 with Goretex. In rainy or dry weather, with the Keens, my feet are dryer and less sweaty, but because they’re dryer, they feel warmer in cold weather. Happy feet! I realize everyone is different, so your mileage may differ. But for me, these are great.

Excellent shoes with caveats
I do a LOT of walking, much of it in urban areas but also on trails. I have heard about the KEEN shoes for years, and I finally got a pair late in 2023. (The pair I purchased more recently from Amazon was to replace that earlier pair.) The news is mostly good. They are very comfortable shoes, and I especially appreciate the roomy toe area. The uppers are solid and stand up to mud and water — I've used them for long walks in rain. The thickness and stiffness of the sole is just right for me — not too stiff for the urban walking, but providing enough cushion and stiffness for hiking on trails, including somewhat rough trails. The little loop at the heel is actually useful when putting the shoes on. The lacing system is straightforward and effective. The shoes were comfortable right out of the box and remained so. I would like to mention two issue that buyers should be aware of. First, like many similar shoes, the removable cushioned insoles are not very durable. After six months of use or a bit less the fabric on top of the insoles began to wear and I had to replace them. More concerning to me is that the soles wore down significantly after six months, to the point that all of the heel tread was gone and a hole revealed the underlying (and less protective) inner foam layer. Unfortunately, the soles are not replaceable. In fairness, I walk a lot and I do wear shoes out this way. But do be aware of this if you purchase this shoe.

Good quality
On my 3rd pair. Best shoes I've ever owned. Water resistant, super comfortable with a wide toe box. I wear them for all occasions.

A good fit and very comfortable after the 1st 100 yards.
What I like about the shoe: it feels sturdy, well made, and it is comfortable. It fit me well once the ankle cushion was broken in. I also like that the shoe is 100% leather. What I don't like: fake discounts. The shoe is advertised at 35% off, or $100. I think the pricing point is within the range of similar walking shoes, so it has hard for me to know whether this is a genuine discount or not. There is another Keen shoe 'Targhee 3 Oxford Casual Hiking Shoe' which is made of textile & synthetic material which sells for $64, so $100 for an all leather model is not unreasonable. $155 seems high ($100 after 35% off), so it makes me question whether the discount is real. If I remember, I will update this review in a year or two with comments about durability.

Pricey but worth the money
Bought these same shoes like 10 times. Pricey, but very solid shoe. Waterproof, so great in the wet and snowy months. Solid sole for hiking. Durable lacing and eyes. Roomy toe box for wide feet. Never thought I'd pay this much for shoes but they have me hooked.

Best shoes ever!!!!!
This my 5th pair and I wear them everyday. Hands down, these are the best shoes ever! I will continue to buy more whenever I need another pair. They look great, are very comfortable, stable soles, waterproof and last a long time. I hope Keen continues making them just like they are today in the same quality and color that I like (see pics). I wear a 10.5 wide that fits perfectly and the

Despite being one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever had, they are so very slippery in the wet condition.
