Digitally re-mastered two CD set containing a pair of albums from the British Blues Rock outfit: Refrigerator (2000) and Chilled (2002). Released to coincide with the band's 30th Anniversary, both albums capture London's finest Rhythm & Blues group at their very best. Refrigerator is an excellent studio album while Chilled finds the band revisiting many of their classics in a relaxed acoustic atmosphere. 28 tracks total. Angel Air. 2010.

Still
If you don’t know, Nine Below Zero, don’t start with this. The band sound a little tired. Get ‘Don’t point your finger’ and one of their early live albums. That’s the way to go and go and see them live. After all these years they still never let you down.

Acceptable
Not as raw as the early offerings such as "Don't point your finger" but still better than some of the recent live albums. Refrigerator is the better of the 2 with some classic offerings such as "Money or the man" and "Tell me why". Originally recorded in 2000 and 2002 these albums sit neatly together as a good record of the bands offerings from that time and are reasonably representative of later and current output. If you see NBZ live now ( highly recomended ) you will hear many of the songs on these 2 albums but with the added benefit of the atmosphere which may leave you wishing these albums were a little bit less polished but all in all a good addition to any collection.
