Love Best Bottom Daipers
I am new to cloth diapering and when I made the decision to cloth diaper I was very overwhelmed with all the different types of diapers out there. I somehow stumbled upon the "hybrid" type diaper system and realized that was going to be the best system for me. It seemed simple enough. Purchase shells and snap in corresponding pads. I liked that the shells could be used multiple times which would cut down on the amount of laundry. I also figured it was a great way to slowly emerge myself into cloth diapering. I found on NIckisdiapers.com that the two "hybrid" systems that matched my budget were the Best Bottom diapers and the Grovia's. I ordered both systems and figured after a few uses I would probably prefer one over the other. Its been about 2 months now and I really don't have a favorite yet. I love both systems. With the Grovias I love that they are trim and not bulky. I also like that only one size soaker pad is needed and I don't have to buy larger sizes as my little one grows. My only complaints thus far are minimal. I wish they had more color choices available and that the soaker pads didn't take as long to dry.The best bottom diapers come in an array of colors which I love! they do have a nice trim fit but don’t seem to fit as well around my little ones thighs. They have double gussets which makes it thicker and gives her a “splayed” legs position. I wish the soaker pads were just one size. Purchasing different sizes as the child grows isn’t as economical as other systems. I do like that the pads are trim and do not take that long to dry.If your thinking about doing a hybrid system and can’t decide which brand to go with I would recommend either to you. I would say give them both a try and I think you would be happy with either

SUPER Cute, great diaper cover & system!
LOVE the Best Bottom diaper covers & snap in inserts. The covers are trim, fit BELOW the baby's belly button (important for newborns) and are truly a ONE size fits all adjustable diaper. I had the rise snaps on the bottom row and overlapped the waist flaps as shown in the picture when my son was a newborn. Now that he is two months old, I have moved the rise snaps up to the second row and leave one snap showing on the waist. The legs are gusseted so they DON'T LEAK.The liners SNAP IN, which makes changing diapers on a wiggly baby infinitely easier than having to lay the liner inside the cover. The hemp liners are the trimmest & very absorbent. The stay dry liners are slightly bulkier, absorbent and keep baby DRY, and the overnight inserts are great for overnight. All three inserts are narrower between the legs than inserts from other brands which I like because my son can move his legs more easily & freely. This DOES mean that runny breastfed poop occasionally goes beyond the liner & gets onto the inside of the diaper cover, but with the leg gussets I have NEVER HAD IT LEAK outside the diaper. I just got two extra covers to accommodate for this. With so many CUTE colors & patterns to choose from and a reasonable price point, this was not a big deal to me. Give them a try! Made in the USA.

I purchased to try it out, wish I hadn’t.
The double layer of PUL, and double gussets sound nice. But the front is not wide, the material is tough, the inserts leak. I really wanted to like, but it’s not easy to put on baby, and with leaks due to the insert not absorbing fast enough. For the price I expected more. I’ll be sticking to other brands such as thirsties, grovia, lalabyebaby, nora’s nursery and Texas tushies.

NOT FOR NEWBORNS
I made the mistake of believing that diaper covers could actually be "one size" fits all! It sounded like a wonderful dream that would make my venture into cloth diapering so easy and convenient. Unfortunately, these were way too big for my little girl.My daughter was born at 7lb 4oz, I used a prefold diaper WITH a Snappi and then tried to use these just as a waterproof cover. I mean don't get me wrong, you can put the thing on the baby but I would say it is a long shot from "fitting" in any sort of way on the smallest setting. Which leaves you open to leaks. I'm sure these will be wonderful in a few months when my girl is a little larger, but just bear in mind that this probably won't be useful until 3 months unless you have a healthy 10lb baby (maybe even more...?).Can't speak to wear and tear, ease of use, etc. yet. Will update later...

Nice snug fit, but a little sweaty
These are so cute on my little boy and I haven't had any leaking issues so far. The cover is an awesome fit, especially with the double-gusset legs. The only issue i have is the material of the cover makes my son sweat where it touches his skin. Normally on pocket diapers, it's only cloth touching the skin. For this reason, I do not use this diaper on him at night because it's just too many hours of his skin not breathing. (And honestly, the one time I did, there was a little bit of a musty odor when I took it off.) Other than that, it's a great addition to my diaper collection!
