Sunlite / Kenda K831 Alpha Bite Mountain Bike Tires Pair - Black 26x1.95"

Given that I received a pair of tires that are not featured in the description, they are still good quality tires with a similar tread pattern and I'm not dissatisfied. I received the Duro Diamond Grip which are comparable to the Kenda Alpha Bite. When I placed this order I had also ordered the Sunlite Bicycle K831 Alpha Bite in a different size from another supplier so I have the K831 Alpha Bite tires to compare the tires I received to. For comparison I added a photo with the Kenda Alpha Bite on the left and the Duro Diamond Grip on the right. The price for the pair I received was great and I am looking forward to getting these on and testing them. Also given that bicycle tires are hard to come by at this point in time, I am happy that I have some to replace my current tires that are worn out. After I get some miles on these Duro Diamond Grip tires I'll provide an update.Update, after a couple of weeks of daily riding, I am more than pleased with these tires as they serve my purpose completely.

Needed some mtn bike tires to replace the original ones on my GT.I am pretty happy with the tread, grip, and look of these tires - price was okay as well.If you need some decent tires these are a good deal

Ordered this set of two tires in September, mounted in October, put bike away (in a heated building) for the winter without riding once. Just went and serviced/tuned the bike for riding this season and discovered the brand new tire that was mounted on the rear is splitting on the sidewall all around the tire on both sides. "customer service" website is a dead link, Call the number provided by Amazon: Lighting company answers. If you want to buy a product that will go bad in a short time with no customer service (or crappy as another person on here shared), but past your return window go ahead and roll the dice. However with the vast other options here on Amazon you should go with a different option. Just look at the pictures of the "new" tire, the tires that came off the bike were many (10+) years old and though worn no cracks.

Great value for the money

I was in the process of fixing my mountain bike, that's been sitting for years. The old tires and tubes were old, dry, and cracked, and needed to be replaced.I did not want to spend an excess amount of money, and wanted something of decent quality.I found these and they had good ratings and was a kit. I got them fairly quick and I installed then without any problems.The tires have good thread and looks nice and rugged. They roll very well. Was far as longevity, I'm not sure yet, will report back later.

I think this is my third pair of Kenda tires in the last 12 years so yeah compared to vehicles they go the distance. I actually prefer to put them with the Y facing upside down when facing the bike. My first pair I really wore down to nothing and I was still able to do mountains however my latest pair got a flat on a rose thorn! I was hitting rocks and metal and all kinds of stuff prior to nature's genius. Used a patch and I guess patches on tubes last pretty much forever.
