tamiya quality! very nice deatails and assembly should be easy after painting etc.

Fast shipping. The kit box was crushed a bit. Could have been packaged a lot better. Checked contents and all was there . Box was not sealed. Quality molds and very little flash. Just started building the kit today. Will update at mid build

This model should be in every F1 model collection, easy to assemble, follow the instructions, paint is required. Very happy with the end result. Tamiya makes the most realistic models.

Nicely detailed . Creates a fine model of a significant race car

Nice model of an iconic race car. The engine detail is especially nice.. Building presented a few challenges. The molds appear to be wearing. There was more flash than I typically experience on a Tamiya kit. A few parts required tweaking to fit. Also the model has a lot of black and white areas next to each other. Masking is challenging and the slightest painting mistake is highly visible. Touch-up is difficult since the specified white paint for the body is only available in a spray. You end up spraying a small amount into a container so you can use a brush for detail areas. Still, the final result is pleasing and I am glad I built the model.

Little disappointed in how many parts were in the kit this model is not exactly inexpensive but still all in all was worth it could have used more detail on the engine and stuff like that

Llegó rapidísimo y solo estaría bien una mejor envoltura para proteger la compra, la caja del modelo veía un poco tú maltratada porque lo enviaron en una bolsa de papel grueso... El modelo está intacto

In meiner Jugend, als ich noch erheblich mehr gebastelt hatte, mir jedoch nur die Matchbox Modelle leisten konnte träumte ich schon von diesem Auto und in diesem Fall von dem Tamiya Modell. Als ich dann gekonnt hätte gab es ihn wenn überhaupt nur für unverhältnismäßig hohe Preise, oder im größeren Maßstab, den wollte ich aber unter anderem aus Platzmangel dann auch nicht. Nun Jahre später hat Tamiya ja eine neue Auflage gestartet unter anderem mit diesem und da ich auch so langsam wieder anfange habe ich natürlich sofort zugeschlagen. Er kam zwar aus Japan, doch zu meiner Verwunderung lange vor dem eigentlichen Lieferdatum und das aller genialste wie ich fand im Karton eingewickelt in Blätter einer aktuellen japanischen Tageszeitung. Dann nach öffnen des Modells war ich trotz bekannter Tamiya war ich völligst von den Socken, denn das übertraf auch die besagte bekannte Qualität. Also alle Daumen hoch für alle die auf die alten Wagen stehen und auch noch für eine gesteigerte Qualität offen sind.
