I work for a spine pain specialist and we were joking about pillows and how they affect a persons sleep, so with the neck pain I’ve been having, and the headaches that have come secondary to them, I decided to get a new pillow. Even with my background, I was skeptical about how much this would actually help, boy was I in for a surprise.I got the box and it was a little beaten up, however this was at no fault to the company, but everything inside was wrapped up tightly and perfectly clean. As for the smell some people complain of, I cannot honestly comment about it, I’ve had a sinus surgery and have not regained my sense of smell from it, so I haven’t noticed one, but my husband wants me to order one for him too so it can’t be too bad!The pillow:There is a low edge that does well to support the low neck (C6,7) as it goes down into the upper back if you use it on your back, but I prefer this side to be down when I lay on my stomach. It’s very comfortable and they’ve put a lot of thought into it, down to arm placement. I prefer the more contoured side when I lay on my back or sides though. It supports my shoulders and head more. It’s higher up but it keeps the spine aligned in both positions, so it doesn’t put any weird pressure on my nerves.When I wake, sans a headache and neck pain, it’s a little strange not to immediately reach for a headache medicine, but it’s absolutely fantastic. This pillow is solid but not heavy, it’s less than 3lbs I believe. But it is not fluffy, so if you want a feather pillow that will still support your neck, this will not be it. However, being realistic, I really feel this is a great pillow, especially for the cost, and I highly recommend it!

I've been going to a chiropractor the last two years to help out with my neck pain and poor posture. He's told me that my Atlas is out of alignment and we've been working to improve that as well as my posture. I've also been seeing an acupuncturist. A lot of my problems are related to the cervical vertebrae. They've been recommending pillows to help keep my head properly in position. I've tried a few brands of pillows. Some work better than others. I decided to give this pillow a try. I showed it to my chiropractor and he told me to get it and try it. I liked the idea that this pillow supported multiple sleeping positions, as I get tired of having to sleep only on my back. I've been trying this for a few days now, and it's been very comfortable for me. I've been using it to sleep on my back, on my left side and on my right side. So far I've been feeling good and sleeping fine. I went to my Chiro again yesterday and he said my Atlas has kept it's alignment. The hardness of the pillow is right for me and it's keeping my head in the right position, so I don't feel any pain. The quality seems very good and I like that it has it's own case. For me, this is definitely a keeper!

I am a side/back sleeper. I decided to try this pillow based on reviews b/c I’ve tried nearly a dozen pillows over the last two years. All were too soft/firm, which kept my neck at weird angles and simply found it hard to get a good night’s sleep.It appears that I may have found my perfect pillow. I’ve had it for a week and have noticed that I am sleeping way more soundly than before. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I’m actually getting some real sleep. It does take a few days to get used to b/c of its unique design, which is genius and it works in its (and your) favor. It has the right amount of support that aligns my neck and spine, and cradles my neck/head nicely without being over-intrusive. This pillow provides many options for sleeping positions, which I enjoy. I will be taking this with me when I travel.If it weren’t for the initial smell, which is obnoxious, I would have given it 5 stars. It made my entire entire bedroom smell and takes nearly a week for the smell to dissipate. When I first received it, I washed both pillowcases immediately and sat the foam near an open window throughout the week. A week later it still has a mild (but tolerable) scent.FYI...this pillow comes with two pillowcases (one white; one gray). The white one will already be on the pillow when you take it out of the box.

Sound like an overstatement? Not for someone who had been dealing with chronic neck pain from bad pillows for years which was leading to a poor quality of life because I'd be in pain all day. I went through dozens of pillows and spent hundreds of dollars over the course of 2 years trying to find a pillow that didn't leave me with debilitating neck pain. I was constantly tossing and turning to try and find the right position with the other pillows, but none felt quite so effortlessly supportive like this one.I was about ready to give up after buying all the highly rated pillows on Amazon with no success. I took a chance on this one with zero expectations as I was beyond deflated at that point. Well, it's been one month since I've had this pillow and there hasn't been ONE night that I haven't been able to fall asleep within minutes and wake up with ZERO NECK PAIN. It was a bit stiff at first, but broke in by the 3rd night and it's been magical since.Many of the other memory foam pillows were too stiff or too high up. I find the higher side on this pillow the perfect fit. Note that this pillow has a lower "high" height than many of the other ones on Amazon. It also broke in incredibly quickly.In case this helps anyone make a purchase, I'm a 6ft 175lb man sleeping on the Casper select mattress from Costco, which is a fairly firm mattress. I'm a back sleeper but occasionally sleep on my stomach and side. This pillow works for all positions but in my opinion is best for back, then stomach and side.I am not joking when I say that I'm considering buying a lifetime supply just so I can have this amazing godsend of a pillow for the rest of my life. In fact, I've just ordered another as I must find a way to support this wonderful business that changed my life. Thank you(!!) and I hope anyone with chronic neck pain will give this pillow a try.
