Will these drive a square nut

No these will not work for square bolt or nuts. they are 6 point and it just will not work. better to use 12 point socket as it has the proportional number of sides. 6 cannot be divided by 4 but a 12 point just means there are 2 additional points on each side but divides equally.

Are these (E Torx) sockets impact rated for use with impact drivers?

I'm not sure of their rating but they are very heavy duty and I would not hesitate to use them with an impact driver. That is assuming you are not going to use them continuously in a production situation. Not sure they would hold up then.
