This is a great case for anyone wanting a legit first aid case
This case is built like a tank. It's very high quality and worth every penny you spend on it. My only gripe is the method for attaching the strap to the handles could have been designed better. Overall, I give it my unqualified recommendation.

Expensive and heavy, but strong.
This product weighs over 18 pounds empty. I needed a larger first aid kit. The adjustable dividers allow you to adjust drawer sizes, although you must divide 3 sections at a time ( important note: the side to side dividers are slightly shorter than the front to back dividers, you cannot interchange them). I wish they offered it in red, internationally orange signifies radioactive materials present. This unit is tough Pelican standard. Read the assembly instructions first. You need to add the sharps bracket and the shoulder straps before you set the pins. This is a large, well designed medical box. The center clear drawers can be zip tie closed or locked (you would need a very small lock).

Very Well Built but Too Heavy - Read the Fine Print
I purchased this Pelican case to be a water proof tool box for my boat. The case is well laid out and very sturdy but the case is so heavy that when full of tools it's weight makes it a bad choice. Also when the case arrived, I was in the middle of a medical crisis and did not get a chance to even open the box for over a month. When I did get time to do so and found it would not work for me the company I purchased it from would not take it back even though it was in perfect condition and I was willing to pay to ship it. Read the fine print was my lesson from this purchase!

Makes a great kit
As described. The case is a bit heavy but what a great kit it makes. I have every size and style of band aids in it along with gauze, shears, cold packs, iodine and alcohol wipes, bottles of stuff and I still have plenty of room to add more. Love the fact that it has movable pieces in the tray to make it the size you need for your items. Plus it has sealed/door compartments for things that could break open and make a mess of everything. It is a little hard to close the snaps in the front but I think that just has to be that it is brand new and they just need to be worked a little. Would recommend to everyone.

Great purchase; the pride of our Boy Scout troop!
Our Boy Scout troop decided to get a new 1st Aid kit, waterproof was a requirement as it goes on camping trips. This is functional and large enough to carry everything we needed to serve about 20 boys during a 1 week summer camp. It is a larger up front cost than substitutes like converted tool or tackle boxes, but well worth it given its expected lifespan and functionality.

The drawers, the drawers, the drawers
I've purchased 5 of these type of cases, either tool or EMT and the drawers ALL fail. A case like this can fall off a boat with 80lbs of tools and come back up like a submarine in the movies. I fit three in a an iFoldit Aluminum cart, or two plus a Rigid air compressor the exact same size (amazing coincidence).

Nice idea but they just don't hold up to normal use.
My coworker was so impressed with this box when I bought mine that he bought the identical box from a different vendor. Both of our boxes just didn't hold up. The cantilever trays will wear out in a bout a year. Poor design. Metal rivets in plastic just wont hold up! Now for the "Pelican Warranty" that everyone talks about. Pelican wouldn't give either of us the time of day to help fix our boxes. We work for a professional outfit that buys Pelicans all day long...but wouldn't even talk to us about warranting or helping us fix these things. These are extremely light use boxes, which is not something you'd be accustomed to with a Pelican product. If you plan on opening them daily they will not hold up. You'll be like me looking for other alternatives. When the internal workings fail it will cause personal injury also from pinch hazards as the cantilever mechanisms are like scissors. We've both gutted the cantilever trays out of these and they now sit in the corner of my office. Very disappointed with this product.
