Amazing Product., great for low current DC readings
Having read alot of reviews oin this producxt I thought I would add mine.I bought this to measure DC current on the low end.The first thing I did when this clamp meter came through the door was to test the meter and the photo says it all. The meter once zero`d with the wire in place and no power going through it was accurate to within 1mA which I thought was amazing for the price.I carried out a further 5 or 6 tests at various current settings between 50mA and 700mA and all were more than acceptable (+/-2mA).You can`t go wrong with this product. One caveat I should mention, I have not measured the accuracy of any of the other features as I`m really only interested in the clamp current.

Very Handy small tool for quick checking.
Whenever you are going to buy a DVM (digital volt meter) you are faced with an array of decisions. What functions do you want to measure, to what accuracy do you need and how much do you want to pay? With a DVM you can pay 5 x + the cost of this handy tool (for a Fluke meter) and for the clamp ammeter facility you will need to pay £120 for the Pico clamp ammeter and will need an oscilloscope to attach it to.I primarily chose this meter for a number of reasons:-The clamp ammeter Jaws were not too large/wide (16mm) this gives higher accuracy when measuring small current flows. I use them for checking vehicle DC battery parasitic drain, which should be 20-30 milliamps and alternator charging current, normally 60 amp max. I noticed that the amp scales were 600 milliamps/6 amps/60 amps/100 amps perfect for vehicle current ranges. I had not noticed that the 600 milliamp setting was for AC only but the higher three were AC/DC.On the Volts/Ohms/continuity beep setting, I liked the auto set facility which made it quick and simple to use. Also the the LIVE setting was excellent for checking caravan/motorhome mains hook up wiring on 240v.Unfortunately on the first meter I was supplied the voltage reading was innacurate and gave me a reading of 11.9volts on a 12.4volt car battery. I as a consequence had to return the DVM, but I was impressed at the level of after sales service provided by MAXRIENY-UK. Who demonstrated great concern at my disappointment and very quickly supplied an accurate unit for me to use.It is a shame the 600 milliamp scale is not DC compatible it would make this little tool perfect for my needs, but I am unable to find any other reasonably priced DVM available anywhere that better meets my needs/original requirement.

Digital Mulitimeter
Dose what I need for. On Accuracy I can't comment but do like it.

DC clip on at a bargain price.
You can always get AC clip ons for a reasonable price but to find a DC one at this price is pretty good. I like the fact that it has probe holder built in too like the expensive one my company bought me. The accuracy is good as well for a sub £100 meter. Definitely worth buying if you check a lot of DC current like in automotive, electronics etc.

Bside ACM91 AC DC Voltage and amp current reading
As described nice piece of kit work well and functional

Did not work
At nearly £50 I presumed this would be good. It arrived promptly but did not work displaying either nothing or a backlight only or a frozen display that did not register voltage when turned on. Item returned.

Good for Automotive use because it's small
A good, easy unit to use with all the features required for fault finding on electrical systems, both automotive and home.

Will work with low DC currents (less than 1amp)
Bought this mainly to help diagnose parasitic battery drains in cars, boats and tractors. Most clamp meters at this price do not have a low DC current function. Useful on more modern vehicles and the simple act of disconnecting the battery to put a standard multimeter in series with one of the battery terminals wakes up ECUs on the vehicle and causes a higher current draw, meaning you have to wait (sometimes for long time) to get the car to power down and give you a baseline current reading. Using this clamp meter avoids that issue as you don’t need to disconnect the battery. I found it to be fairly accurate, certainly good enough to pick up 50 milliamp (or even less) draws and help me locate which module or system on a vehicle is not shutting down and draining the battery. I also use it on my cheap stick welder to set the current for welding thin (1mm or less) steel box section The cheap inverter welder readout is not accurate, with this clamped around the stinger lead I can dial in 20 or 30 amps and know it's correct. Would recommend this clamp meter for the money, I’m glad to have it.
