I have a really old betta that has cancer or a tumor of some kind for about a year that keeps getting worse and there’s nothing I can do to cure him. He has issues swimming because he’s so sick and was having problems coming to the surface to eat. So I got this acrylic cube. Most breeder boxes or isolation boxes were too big for my aquarium (15 gallon fluval flex). And I also wanted something that wasn’t too obstructive or an eyesore to look at. It was easy to put together and use and it’s just enough space for my sick betta to live out the rest of his days comfortably in peace and safe from the other fish if they ever decided to pick on him. It’s a sad reason to need to buy this but I’m glad I got it because even though he’s a fish I felt bad seeing him so miserable and Hes the oldest fish I’ve kept so I do have an attachment to him. Once he passes away I can disassemble the cube for compact storage which is nice too. I highly recommend this product. It is pretty small but is acceptable for a betta.
