This will keep curious chickens busy with good treats. It’s inexpensive and has kept my chickens busy more that other toys and things I’ve wasted money on. Definitely a must have whether you free range or keep your chickens in a run.

I love these for the chicken run - these later models have tighter hooks (I had to squeeze the hooks tighter first set I bought) so the chickens didn't knock off the skewer. SUPER easy to use - and keeps the chickens highly entertained. I only wish they came in a 10 pack. While I only have 2 chains in the run, I have a drawer full of skewers and just throw the dirty ones in the dishwasher. Corn on the cob and heads of lettuce/cabbage seem to work best for extended entertainment.

They are very sturdy. I put a whole heavy cabbage on one skewer and corn cob on the other and hang them My chickens go crazy chasing the cabbage around and around.. just as fun to watch them. The food is always clean and not in the dirt.

Works great, sturdy and gives chickens a natural way to peck at vegetables and fruits while keeping the food off the ground. Took a little bit for my chickens to catch on to it but once they did, it worked like a charm.
