Buyer beware
This is exactly what my pup needed. He's not agressive but he does NOT like people coming right for him. He needs time to sniff you and make sure you're cool before he let's you pet him. This product made people slow down and ask before sticking their hands in his face. BUT we've only had it since March 2019 and it's already shredded, and no, my dog did not do that. It was just wear and tear (literally). I would not recommend anyone spend the money on this product. It was $18 when I bought it but it's the quality of the dollar store. Steer clear folks. (Disclaimer, I am not hurting my pup in the picture, he's part basset and his pudgy neck was blocking the view, I'm just holding his scruff down. )

NOT SAFE!
This is my 2nd harness in a month. While I will say customer service is great at sending a new product, it's not worth the riskI bought this harness because my dog is nervous around people (can you believe it?!) After about a week and half the first harness broke. The ring on the top/back of the harness comes off because the stitching isn't strong enough. I did a return and got a new one sent to me, same thing happened. Now the 2nd harness is beginning to fray as well. My dog is only 30lbs... I can't imagine if you bought this for a larger dog.My dog and will often take off after people/animals she sees. Rather than breaking her neck with a collar I bought this harness. Imagine my shock when someone walked by and she took off and the ring on the back pulled right off 🤦.I unfortunately will not buy this again.

So useful!
My sweet boy is very uneasy around people he first meets. He’s the most gentle dog, but he often howls at people when he is startled; people presume that he could be aggressive when it’s the furthest thing from the truth! This vest has allowed me to not explain my dog’s circumstance every time he may bark at a stranger because people approach him much more calmly now once they see his vest. So helpful for socializing your shy pup! :)

Just Perfect!
Just perfect! I got three different colors/words all in the small for my Jack-Russel/Rat Terrier mix and my two Rat Terriers. They fit all three perfectly. It's bright, well made, and enough padding that they comfy in it. Unlike the other 2 I ordered, the green "friendly" one has a ring on the harness at the back and on the front too. The yellow and white only have d-rings on the back. Really worked out great for my needs. Very happy with my purchase. My dogs are all different sizes from 10 lbs to 20 and different heights, neck and girth, but the small fit all 3 beautifully. I'm delighted with the purchase and glad I decided to splurge on these and the matching collars. Even my nervous dog who refuses to move if you try to put anything on her is comfy in her new halter and really doesn't seem to mind wearing it at all!

Finally, a comfy harness!
Our dog, even after his 5 years of taking walks with us, is a big fan of going crazy and exploring everything, while dragging us on the leash. I appreciate his enthusiasm but he loves to "choke" himself (even with the strappy harnesses) trying to be everywhere at once and makes us look like bad dog owners! This harness spreads out his weight and is comfy- the mesh is slightly padded and the design allows for proper weight distribution. No amount of pulling will harm him and the bright yellow is great for walking him at night. Also, the yellow coded harness with the words "Nervous" for unknowing dog owners is helpful, as our dog has anxiety around other dogs since being attacked by a big dog a couple years ago. We pair this with the Flexi 16-Feet Neon Reflect Retractable Belt Dog Leash (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AAV7192) and while the yellows don't match, it works great. There's a lot of room for adjustment on the harness, so the most important thing to size is your dog's neck, since that part of the harness is not adjustable (but it's not a big deal).

A great warning for others when they want to approach your dog.
Perfect for our dog who is incredibly nervous. She's a pretty dog, so people want to approach her on walks which causes her stress to go through the roof. She will twist her leash and attempt to get away. This let's people know to not approach her or they can understand why she acts the way she does.

Snug, Bright
The closed loop for the neck makes a nervous dog more nervous. I have an 18 lb. Terrier/Min Pin and the harness fit a bit on the snug side for her. If your dog has a thicker or thinner neck, then this harness may not be a good fit (literally). The design has encouraged my dog not to pull on the leash so much, and I liked the option of switching from the D-ring on the back to the chest to control walking. The color is definitely bright and the letters are crisp, easy to read.

Poorly Made
Vest is poorly made. We were outside with our chihuahua on a tie out, he saw a rabbit and made to chase it. The vest broke on his lunge and off he went. Used it ONE time. We have had him out before with other harnesses and never had an issue.

Perfect!!!
Absolutely LOVE the new harness I bought for my little dog. He's a very nervous little chap and it does sadly manifest in shows of aggression, simply because he is fearful of other dogs/people/children approaching him. Because he is so small people just seem to want to touch him and don't realise how distressing this can be for him. Hopefully his harness and lead will make others think twice before touching him, and will eliminate the need to me to muzzle him while walking on the lead!UPDATE 4/5/16Although I initially loved the harness, after only a few days use it has begun to fray, and more importantly, there are signs of chaffing under my dogs arms. He measures a size small, the next size up would've been far too big so maybe the cut just isn't quite right where it's supposed to fit under the front legs. Disappointed now, would've been perfect apart from these issues

***AVOID*** READ BELOW!!
Do not buy this product if you want to keep a nervous dog safe and on lead!!Our nervous dog had been pulling on the lead, clipped on to the front of the harness. The fabric gave way and she darted away from us. Thankfully she came back, however it could have been so much worse as she was having a bit of a melt down about another dog being present! It's bizarre that a harness made for nervous dogs would be made poorly enough for the fabric to snap when a dog pulls on its lead!

Finally helped with our problems!
Bought this with the lead and I really pleased. What my poor dog has gone through over the years with dogs off leads! I resorted to the no dogs set but it didn't work as his behaviour was misread. I will say that this set is stronger than the other I had ( not sure if it's made by the same people) but with both I have used a stronger harness incorporated . It fits well and is comfortable as he pulls. Clearly displays his issues and our lives are easier going out instead of people thinking he's an aggressive jack russell. I got that constantly to which I used to explain that if you had been attacked 3 times you would be panicky too! Further update, we have used this with a stronger harness underneath which clips together on the lead really well. Still worth every penny, even the vet commented on what a good idea it was.

excellent fit and very well made!
I bought this as one of my dogs is very nervous around other dogs plus a lead to match in the hope that other dog owners wouldn't let their dogs run up to mine as its common knowledge that if your dog has yellow harness etc then its nervous and needs space. The fit is great, seems very hard wearing and strong. Obviously being yellow it does get dirty quite quickly especially at this time of year but i just handwash it. I would recommend anybody with a nervous dog uses one of these as it gives peace of mind when out walking. I think the whole range of these nervous products are a really good idea. My dog weighs around 8kg and the small fitted like a glove!

It makes good dog walkers even more considerate.
This has made a big difference when walking my nervous of other dogs greyhound - it makes already good owners very considerate. I wouldn’t use it to hold my dog on the lead as it’s not so robust so I just use her collar for the lead.
