Had a plain spruce top Ovation with the standard sound hole from the 80's to mid 90s. Wound up giving it to a relative who still has it. Saw one of these slightly used at a local store for an outrageous price. Did the usual internet search which led me here. Have not been disappointed. Still has the best plugged in sound of any acoustic. Not bad acoustically either. Very comfortable to hold and has the same old comfortable Ovation neck. Great looking guitar as well. Did change the strings to my usual Martin Silk & Steel 11.5-47 gauge. The sound really came alive then

Neck warped . Couldn't get a refund from seller. It eventually a year later split the wood up by neck. Would not ever buy again

Beautiful guitar excellent markings. Has an amazing sound. Very happy.
