I purchased this (Vitamin C) as a last attempt to get rid of my hyperpigmentation before I went to face burners and peelers. For starters, my face is sensitive and really dry. -This goes on smooth and does moisturize but it can feel a little dry if you apply foundation after use. If I’m applying makeup afterwards, I’ll usually add a second layer. Otherwise it does the moisturizing job with one time. -The smell isn’t bad and doesn’t last on your skin. My face sucks it right up and after 10 minutes or so, there is no smell. -It does not burn or feel any different than my normal moisturizer. I have not gotten red like with other products I’ve tried. It also does not cause any breakouts. -The pictures are after using once a day for 7 days. I have noticed a traumatic difference. Before this, I tried neutrogena regenerating retinol. It did nothing after two weeks twice a day. Studies say retinol and vitamin c are the cure. I have also tried MaryKay brightener and that also was a bust. Smelled like tree bark. -Bonus.. it also faded my laugh lines a smidge. Bye it if you’re looking to fade those blotchy spots. Update: 3rd pic is after 2-3 weeks use. Almost completely gone.

I think the texture and hydration of this lotion was fine, good quality for what you'd expect. It did take awhile to work lotion into skin which didn't bother me. I also believe it was starting to lighten my skin but I didn't use the whole jar because I couldn't stand the smell. To me it was a putrid smell that didn't diminish but lasted all day even with body spray and so I discontinued use and am going to try something else. Thats why 3 star rating---may work but smell was too overpowering in a negative way

I don't find a lot of products that live up to promises, but this one does. I get allergies sometimes, and after a recent breakout on my legs, I used steroid cream. Steroid creams often tan your skin. This time around, my inner thighs became so dark from said steroid cream that I was shocked when I spotted the change. I had ugly, dry spots as well. Less than 2 weeks of use of this cream returned my skin to its normal color and also got rid of the dryness. I'm a fair-skinned person, and this miracle cream will forever be on my list of go to's. Even though it cleared up the discoloration, I'm still using it to keep my legs soft.

Scent is okay,nice on skin.

This is a heavy, thick cream that takes a while to soak in, but once it soaks in does moisturize my face. It has a heavy, waxy texture on my face. It's okay, but I feel it's too heavy for me. I also feel it's very overpriced. I don't care for this product really and would not buy it again. Besides being a heavy, waxy textured cream - it will also be white on your face until it all sinks in. You have to give it 5-10 minutes after application for it to sink in before applying make up or any other products to your skin. As far as brightening, I did not see that. It did not actually improve my skin in any way that I could see. It actually works much better on my hands, feet and elbows than on my face.
