I bought this pen to replace my lost Microsoft Surface Pen. It works perfectly! Super easy to assemble, lightweight, and touch screen responsive. It works great for what I need it to do. My only complaint is that unlike the Microsoft pen, the eraser is not responsive and does not act as a shortcut button. It is magnetic and will stick to the side of my Surface, but the magnet isn't very strong, so I keep it in my pen jar on my desk. Overall, I am satisfied with this product and would buy it again if I ever need to replace my pen again!

I lost my Microsoft branded Surface pro stylus, so I quick shipped this one. I was content with the fact that the product might be inferior to the brand named stylus. I. Was. Wrong.This stylus is every bit as good as the banded one (with a couple exceptions). Purchase this and you won't be disappointed.Pros:- Seamless integration/syncing- Smooth use and fine details- Excellent pen point tip for good response.Cons:- No backend erase recognition (this is a nice feature of the branded stylus)- No "quick launch" feature- Slightly slower performance (this could be a flaw in my Surface Pro 6, more than the stylus)

The pen works great. It's always been precise with selecting items. It also works well for signing e-documents. The only downside is that I lost it within a couple months. It stays well in the Surface case I bought, but it's grey and thin, and I put it down somewhere and seem to have lost it. It would be nice if it were available in brighter colors.

When the pen was new it worked just as I needed. However, once I needed to replace the battery the issues began. 1st, the threading on the battery cap is small. So small it was very difficult to not cross the thread and get the cap stuck. 2nd, the cap is very hard to actually hold on to. This made it hard to manipulate the cap while screwing off and on. Lastly, the battery that came with it did not last long. While I understand a generic battery is needed to reduce the cost after only a few months I had to work through the cap issues. This most recent time of replacing the battery. (the 3rd time) I finally got the threads crossed and basically had to ruin the pen to get the cap off to retrieve the rechargeable battery I had installed. The cost of the pen made me buy it again but still sad i had a pen ruined just because of the battery cap design.

Now that I am teaching art classes virtually, I really wanted to step up my graphic design game and learn some new skills. This stylus works perfectly with my Microsoft surface and I was pleased to find that it is also magnetic and holds itself to the side. Makes drawing on the touch screen a breeze and I am really enjoying the endless possibilities with digital art. My daughter has been using it as well for when she is doing e-learning for fourth grade. She loves just being able to tap the screen with it. She says it makes her feel so grown up :) By the way, she is the one who set it up straight from the box, never even asked for help.

This pen did not need any setup and does not require a Bluetooth connection to the Microsoft surface which makes it super easy. The button on the side allows you to erase and right click which is also super useful when writing notes down. It also comes with extra pen tips if you ever lose or need to replace them. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone with a surface because of its quality and affordability.

I lost my surface pen and I read good reviews about this pen so I thought I’d get it. Ive used friends pens that they got for around the same price point and found some of them very good! I’ve had this for about 2 weeks now and it’s been a nightmare. The pen lags if you write quickly, as in it will just skip the first part of any stroke you make, making your writing illegibly unless you write slowllyyy, which isn’t possible in fast paced classes. The nibs are not the same as the surface nibs, so you can’t switch to the soft tip which doesn’t make a clinking noise every time you write.Maybe 1 in 5 times the pen won’t turn on no matter what buttons you press or hold, and you have to take the battery out and put it back in to make it respond again. I would return it but I don’t have the box(since I thought it was good when I first got it), and I need a pen for school. It is a Nightmare, get something else, don’t get this pen.

I have been a surface user for years, since I am always on the road, visiting clients' I needed a powerful tablet with a pen to sign documents, my original pen broke and I decided to try with this one, I do not regret it, as soon as I powered it up it synched with my tablet and started working, I dont feel any delay on the touchscreen, to me it works perfect. A great option if you need to replace the included pen, or if your tablet did not come with one.
