Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn (3-Pack) Pitter Patter 161103-03616

I made a lovely blanket using Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn in Little Sand Castle and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! The yarn is incredibly soft and easy to work with. The color is beautiful and perfect for a blanket. It's machine washable too, which is a big plus. Highly recommended!

This year I decided to make some other things between the afghans I make for my family for Christmas. I didn't want to do just pot holders or dishclothes for us so I decided to do some baby blankets to give away. I made a blanket out of this yarn. I don't recall ever working with Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn before and I am sure I would since I rarely use a super bulkly yarn. But it did work up fast and felt so soft in my hands. It is heavier than I had planned but winters here can be cold so that blanket will be nice for some baby. I may buy more if I need more yarn. But as all crocherers, I have a large yarn stash and most of the blankets will be made using that stash. I need to get that yarn stash under control before I die!

made beautiful baby blankets

I love this yarn and have made a few blankets, hats, scarfs. Only thing is I wish I had checked how much yarn is in each ball vs. how much I need for the project I'm working on.. It took me 10 balls of 3.5 oz yarn to make a baby blanket.. The SMART way was to buy 3 or 4 balls of the 10.5 oz that gave me 4 extra yards for a cheaper price. I'm starting a new blanket with this super soft plush yarn but I'm ordering the large quantity instead. Overall I love the product. (1 ball of 3.5oz has 72 yds x 3 balls in this pack = 216 yds... whereas 1 ball of 10.5 oz has 220 yds)

I wish I could have purchased this in a SUPER-SIZE.🤔

This is a smaller roll of yarn. Still very soft. I like to buy one big yarn to make a small baby blanket. All three of these are eqiuvalent to one big one. I really enjoyed the yarn ends on the outside, so you do not have to unwind it all to make a ball so it doesnt get tangled. That is very huge for me. Over all quality is great and soft. The needle size is needed is an N but I justed an L.
