Difficult to flatten out, otherwise ok..

I have used this specific paper for dozens of shoji lamps, and the quality of light through the paper is soft and warm. It's very easy to roll out and cut. A little spritz of water on the paper once glued and dried contracts the paper to make it even if there is any looseness.

I used this paper for some shoji style doors I made for a Japanese style cabinet. Loved working with this paper! It was much more fibrous, and high quality than I was expecting. Very sturdy paper, not like tissue paper. It was a bit difficult to cut because of how sturdy it was!! Still awesome value for its price.

Like the color, weight and quality, would great with a variety of widths and lengths.

Love the natural colour of this shoji paper but it is thin (relative to the thickness of a card stock or a poster board). So i would not use it for high traffic areas if you have kids or dogs around that can “accidentally” poke through it. However, It still works well as as “screen” as long as it is sandwiched between 2 lattice frames

色の発色が和氏とはいえ、とても綺麗でなじんでいた。和室の雰囲気を壊しませんでした。

I was worried the shoji wouldn't have the texture I was expecting since I couldn't see a proper close up of the paper before ordering. However, it looks great. Only downside is the outer face of the roll, maybe about 20cm of length, is slightly darker than the rest, likely aged by light. Still great though!
