Great Shoe for the Price
These shoes look just as good as the ones 3x the price! And they were also comfortable. Very pleased with them.

Not as Pictured
This shoe is a nice looking shoe. It fits well. It would be perfect if the sole didn’t have a brown trim and predominantly brown heel. It says the shoe is black in the description, it probably should have said black and brown. I’m returning them because the sole takes away from the shoe and make it look cheap and less formal than the look I am trying to achieve.

Good looking and comfortable. Great price.
I needed tuxedo shoes for a formal wedding. In the past, I've been able to get away with wearing black work/dress shoes (shined well). But in the age of "business casual", my black shoes are the "moccasin" type--not appropriate for formal wear. These shoes are synthetic patent leather, so the upper creased a bit when wearing. I thought they would be stiff and uncomfortable right out of the box, but they were amazingly comfortable--almost like slippers. And as I was not particularly inclined to spend a lot of money for shoes I will rarely wear (and then only for relatively short periods of time), the price of $39.99 was just right. Like those t-shirts designed like a tuxedo, perhaps they should make socks designed like tuxedo shoes. :-)

watch out for the return policy
The item desprication includes returns and refunds, however the buyer pays return postage. It isn't cheap so therefore I would advise not buying this product.
