I have a 24 pound nervous Nellie! When she starts having a neurotic moment, she will lick the baseboards, carpet, I need a ton of grass. Last night was one of those nights, and we had just received our bed earlier in the day. One of the reviews that I read was from a woman who had purchased numerous beds from this company and use those for foster care of rescue dogs. Since dogs will mark their territory, she recommended putting the inserts in garbage bags. This also helps keep the pillow inserts from absorbing pet dander and stinking, which all dog lovers know about stinky dog beds! Well, when my girl finally decided to chill out in her bed, she was so relaxed that she snores even louder than our Great Pyrenees! I put the bed in place if her other one in my room for the night and covered her up with the matching blanket. I’m the morning, she continued to return to the bedroom to crawl in her bed. I brought it out next to the Christmas tree, and that is where she is still lying and it has been three hours! She loves it! The sides of the bolsters are very high. One side was not as fluffy and tall as the other. I tossed it in the dryer to see if it would fluff to the height of the opposite side but it did not. She doesn’t seem to mind, but I do. Also, the bottom insert that they lien is not very full. I know from past experience that I can compensate for the lack of filling but for this price, I was a little disappointed with that fact. I be will update my review if it slides not hold up as the company advertises. Overall, I would recommend the bed!

Bought this to put in my corgi, Olive’s, den. She is on and off about beds because she’s super young and runs hot. Normally belly up on the hardwood floor is how I find her.When this arrived yesterday I unpacked it and went to take the box and plastic bag out to the trash, intending to return and wash it before use.Olive was pretty sick that morning, we had gone to the vet, and when I returned she was softly digging and nosing in the soft fuzz, while laying on it. I figured this might not be how she feels after a short while, so I moved it to her den.She slept on it the entire night. It’s a wonderful size: it’s even a bit big for her. She’s around 30lbs. It’s really lovely. The sides haven’t risen higher than the middle much, the center is so fluffy. You can see the ring around and I’m sure with wear the center will get flatter.This morning, when I opened her doors, she didn’t get up or move. I thought perhaps she still didn’t feel well, but it turns out she just really loves this bed. What a great purchase. Nice and big, fluffy and soft. It’s comforting while she recovers from being sick.

Our dog loooooves this bed. He has never actually been able to own a bed before this--he tore one up, and tried to drag the other one we bought him around the house like a toy. But he discovered this magical bed at a friend's house and realized it was the coziest thing he'd ever laid in, so we immediately got one for him and he has been glued to it ever since.The fabric and shape is so soothing for him--he loves curling up in a ball and burying his head into the side walls. We've also added some blankets into it for him because the medium is a smidge too big for him (he's a 33-pound corgi mix) and the small was a smidge too small. With the added blankets, it makes for the perfect cozy spot for him to sleep the day away.We've had it for a little over a year and have washed it a half dozen or so times. It has held up well and is easily reassembled after washing. Overall, we're big fans of this bed!

Our 7-month old Rat terrier pup has taken to the shag dog bed like no other dog bed we've tried! We had trouble at bedtime with him whining to sleep in bed with us every night, but on the very first night we gave him the shag dog bed, he slept in it all night long without a peep! And since then has never begged to climb into bed with us. A Game Changer! He's usually in his shag bed before we are. It's his preferred place to nap as well. Just like the description and pictures from Best Friends by Sheri, sometimes our pup loves to rest his head on the raised rim, sometimes just curls up inside the donut. He also likes to puts his paws in the crevices for extra comfort. Love this so much ordered another for living room.

I was seriously contemplating getting this and spending over $40 on a small dog bed. This thing is huge for a small. My other dogs all try and get into it. Just got this in and opened last night. Got it for my little dog, Chihuahua/feist mix. My big dog at some point took over last night, she's a red heeler/blue heeler mix, probably has some pit as well. She tried to get into it again tonight lol. I'm definitely going to have to order another, I think the medium would be good size, when I get paid. Can't comment or rate on durability or easy to clean yet, but as soon as I can I will.

My 12-pound dog likes most dog beds but this is by far her favorite. Zoey knows it’s a soft, safe place to lie in, and I can feel the heat radiating off her when she curls up in it. I’m sure the foam insert will need replacing with time as it isn’t the firmest, but I think she finds the squishy enveloping style of the bed to be cozy like a big cushy comforter on my (human) bed. I knew she was sold when she started hiding her toys and bones in or under this bed, which she never did with her old ones. Been a few months with this purple donut, no shedding or signs of wear, and know I’ll be purchasing again when needed!

Really love this. My dog Jasper uses it as a play area and a nap bed. Unfortunately - something happened to the fabric in the wash and not sure why. It’s been washed before so I’m surprised it did this!

I cannot express how fab this bed is. I have had a donut bed for a while and needed to buy a new one and picked this one this time. Not only is it top quality but you can just tell how well it’s made. It’s incredibly soft. Mia my little dog just loves it. She jumped straight into it. I then ordered another one for the bedroom for her. Do not hesitate to buy. It’s just perfect.

Está muy bonita y suave. A mí perro le encantó. Tenía duda sobre el tamaño chico pero le quedó perfecto a mi perro de 11kg. Se pone muy ansioso cuando se queda solo en la casa pero la cama ha ayudado mucho ya ni siquiera se sube al sillón. Me preocupa un poco si quedará igual de suave después de lavarla , actualizaré la opinión una vez que lo haga.

As soon as I opened this on Christmas day, my little dog lay in it and hasn't moved since! He usually lies in a variety of places (dog bed under the table, dog bed in our bedroom, sofa, arm chair, floor, my bed, my daughters' beds) but now he only lies on this one. He even disappeared downstairs last night and when I went down to check that he didn't need out for a wee, I found him in his new bed! Unheard of to sleep apart from me. One happy dog!
