AZOR Heavy Metal Distortion Guitar Pedal, True Bypass

This is a clone of the famous "Metal Zone" pedal. The Azor AP 321 aims at one thing and it accomplishes it spectacularly: full blown heavy metal distortion. I've lined this up with several of my other distortion pedals, such as the Tube Screamer, and this pedal far exceeds them in terms of distortion level and bass boost. In fact, when the distortion control is on its highest, it is probably more than the most hard core heavy metal guitarist would want. The extreme/classic toggle switch changes the character of the pedal completely, to the point that it's almost like a two in one. I have several Azor pedals and the construction quality and sound on all are outstanding. This is no exception.

In the short time I have had this, it has become my go to distortion pedal. Lots of life in a little box. You can really fine tune your need without all the extra knobs that many other pedals seem to have.

Its ok for the price, you can probably find something better thats used at a guitar shop for a little more, but I would recommend. It sounds decent, though it tends to sound either somewhat muddy/messy or somewhat weak/empty in tone depending on what your settings are. Overall, the quality of the material is really good and if you are looking for something to start with as a beginner, this is a decent start if your amp doesnt have presets

When I'm using this as my only distortion source it sounds great while offering many tone options. I use it with the brown Reverb pedal, with both pedals able to be powered fine by a 9V battery to barrel adapter. The sound I get through both combined is just amazing and it needs nothing else. I do wish it had a compartment inside for a 9v battery. The Green Overdrive is similar to an Ibanez Tube Screamer with one big difference: the Green's overdrive needs to be turned nearly all the way down to match the Tube Screamer overdrive at half way. The Green simply has way way more drive, but you can get pretty much the same tone as long as you keep its drive down.

It has a lot of noise on it. It is a good price but the quality of sound is compromised.

The product works ok, It gives alot of feed back unlike my other pedals and lots of static. Overall I'm definitely disappointed and will be getting a different brand to replace this product. For a starter pedal it will work. Make sure you get a power plug, it does not come with one.

Arrivé en avance, fonctionne très bien, belle variété de son pour le prix. Ce n'est pas un produit à 200$ mais pour le prix, bien satisfait.

It was ok. It works but doesn't include a 9v power supply. Suggest you should add that with the pedal

This pedal adds an 80's metal distortion as advertised. It does create "noise", but it might be too close to my amp. Easy to use and Very pleased.
