Made some changes to make it work.
The plastic holder thingy was broken right out of the box, clanking around with the heavier metal parts. Junk. However, the stand has a decent weight and height. I bought a camera head adapter (17 mm ball socket to 1/4 threaded mount) and a tripod mount tablet holder. Works great
I purchased this as a gift for my sister and it’s perfect! It holds a variety of tables and phones and it’s great quality.

Easy read iPad.
Doesn’t hold shape and doesn’t rest on floor well unless in dead center. Rubber from holder coming out of groove.

The base is not good if you need to actually use the tablet because it moves too much

Perfect
I won’t lie, I bought this stand to use next to my bed so I don’t have to hold my Kindle and smack myself in the face with it every time I fall asleep. Amazing for the neck!Pro tip: Pair it with the wireless page turner and you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your cozy blanket.I was able to secure my iPad in it and watched shows when I came down with the sickness. The hand had to be at a certain angle to counterbalance or it would tip over, but it did work. I primarily use it with my Kindle, though, so I don’t know how long it would last like that.

Unsteady & the Line droops with an iPad
I hooked up my iPad to the clip and the first thing that happened was the line "drooped." It wouldn't hold the average weight of an iPad without changing the angle.I can prop it up, but I didn't intend to.

Poorly manufactured and worse Customer Service
The unit is poorly manufactured and does not hold the iPad in the vertical position. It also will not support the iPad at the joint for the two main poles are connected. I would not recommend this product and it is very difficult to get a hold of Customer Service.

Adjustable Stand?
The only part that can be adjusted it is the flex snake at the top and it has a lot of limitations. There is not up and down. That part it is very hard to twist to your desire location. I will not recommend it and all.The iPad holder is very week
