Bought these as a gift but had to get a set of my own. Beautiful and simple, good quality for the money spent. Glass is not as clear and has the slightest opaqueness to it, but nothing too noticeable nor does it take away from the simple yet elegant beauty of these cups. Love the deepness of the glass' curvature as well! Perfect for tea ceremonies, as pictured with saffron rock candy.

If you want a Turkish tea glass set, these are the ones. I've had the "restaurant" or "kebab shop" kind and they are usually rather thin, probably practically a disposable at a restaurant. These however, are much better quality.1. They are a bit larger than the restaurant style Turkish tulip tea glasses2. The glass has a heavy bottom, keeping it stable in the saucer and also holding heat at the bottom3. The lip is wide, for comfortable sipping of the tea, cooling at the top for drinking temperature4. The saucers are deep, to catch overflow and drips.The set has six glasses and saucers. They are plain tempered glass, which doesn't bother me, as I usually don't like the fancy designs, but you can buy pretty saucers in china or painted and gilded glass to dress this set up for company if you like.

I am so happy with this set cup. They are very cute and I love the way they look, I was really surprised when I add the tea or the coffee on the cup it didn’t felt hot on my fingers, I guess the glass has some kind of protection?!? I don’t know. Anyway I purchased the Turkish tea as well and I am very pleased with both of them. I highly recommend both of them, actually I sent them to a dear friend of my as a gift.

These tea glasses work well, heat in the tea is conserved by the heavier glass bottom and trapped by the "pinch" of the hourglass shape. Holding the glass by the op rim with my thumb and forefinger I am able to sip the hot tea almost immediately after serving. I am very impressed and pleased with these tea glasses.

Sturdiness and it’s worth the money. The set is in beautiful glass just the way I expected. It came in perfect conditions and makes the perfect gift.
