Our favorite sensory-friendly clay for creative and calming play
My neurodivergent kid actually prefers this Crayola air-dry clay over the traditional, well-known modeling clay, and it really comes down to texture and how much she can do with it. She has a lot of sensory sensitivities but this has become one of her favorite ways to regulate while also being creative and working on fine motor skills. She loves making tiny sculptures, and this gives her that “endless possibilities” feeling without the frustration that comes with stickier clays. The texture is similar to regular modeling clay. It is moist but it doesn’t leave that sticky, oily residue on her hands. There is no weird smell or strong fragrance. Cleanup is also much easier in our experience, which matters when you’re doing this at the kitchen table. My daughter also likes that she can add color to it, and if it starts drying while she’s still working, she can moisten it to extend her time and keep shaping her project. For the amount you get, the price is really good, and it’s been a genuinely worthwhile supply in our house.

EXCEPTIONAL for Kids/Teens and all ages
If you don't have a kiln and messy clay to make pottery, this is a great backup to no mess/non-stickiness on hands, clothing, fabric and your expensive table and chairs. It peels right off your hands with no residue and my 8 year old daughter just made a small bowl and it dried quickly within a few hours and was easy to sculpt. The texture is again, non-sticky and pliable. You can mold and paint in the same day which is helpful when wanting to complete a project in a few hours for a group or individual. It seems like it will last while given the 5 lbs and so far, if you keep the lid closed, it hasn't dried up. Will buy this again and for gifts!

Awesome crafting
Super easy to use, soft to touch, for any thin pieces will need additional support or it crumbles when dry.

Good For Young Art
Everyone loves making stuff with this clay and it’s easy to use, but it cracks really badly as it dries, a warning if you have little that fall in love with their art work. It is a great color if they want to paint it and the thickness is great for building things, but we found the durability lacking as it dries no matter what is made with it.

Great Variety and Excellent Value for Multiple Projects
This set offers a wide range of colors, making it easy to create many different items without needing additional supplies. The clay mixes well, allowing smooth color blending, and the size of each piece is good for both small details and larger projects. It dries quickly, which helps keep projects moving, with minimal stickiness when handled properly. The overall quantity makes it a strong gift value, especially for frequent crafting or multiple creations.

Excellent and inexpensive choice for beginners
This is your basic air dry clay in white. I got it for doll modification as a part of creating dioramas. My daughter is using it as a part of her homeschooled art class for sculpture. It's not a medium that she's working before, but she found it very easy to use. The clay is high quality and stays soft as long as you keep the top on. There is no toxic smell whatsoever. It's a fun thing for creating little sculptures and items that you might want to display.

Good for crafting
Not bad for crafting. I've noticed that the clay works better when applied in thick layers. Thin pieces work but can be a tad brittle. As long as you make sure you don't have any air holes and the clay is pressed together really well then there shouldn't be a problem. Takes a few days to become completely dry. You might be able to speed it up with a hair dryer or something but I haven't tried that.

Works great!
This works so good! I let mine dry for extra the time to be safe. I touched one too soon and it cracked. Let it dry be patient but works great! I made other crafts and still waiting to paint. Here's a few magnets I made with he clay amd I put a clear resin over it for a shine
