I thought I had purchased the magnetic version and this ended up being the double sided tape model. While not a big deal, I was hoping that it would be easily removed in the event I didn't want to use it. Overall it is a great unit and even with mid-low lighting you still get a vibrant color from the sight. I opted for the green glodot and it is perfect in my opinion! This item was installed on my brand new Remington 870 Express 12ga.

Fits fine on the rib of my 60 year old Stevens side-by-side 20 GA shotgun. I had to sand down the 'legs' that straddle both sides of the rib -- until the adhesive strip would rest firmly on the top of the rib. So far it is staying on and the green dot is very bright -- makes getting on target very easy. I mounted the front edge of it about 3/4 inch back of the front of the barrels so there is less chance of hitting it on anything.

Once I get the right one im sure it will be great but the description says the 6mm fits the Winchester SX3 and it does not. The Winchester rail measures 1/4 inch, I checked after I got this, which is 6.5mm. So buy the 1/4 inch one. I am going to do that and hopefully it fits.
