Occipital Nueralgia or Cervogenic headaches
I rarely leave reviews, but this neck stretcher has been one of the most helpful purchases I've made. I've suffered from headaches and migraines for years, and a lot of my pain seems to start in my neck and travel into my temple and behind my eye. I was skeptical at first, but after using this for just 10–15 minutes, I noticed a significant decrease in my head and neck pain. The design is comfortable, easy to use, and provides a gentle stretch without feeling too aggressive. I've found myself reaching for it whenever I feel tension building in my neck, especially after long days, workouts, or when a headache is starting. It's not a miracle cure, but it has become an important part of my routine and provides relief when other things don't. For anyone dealing with neck tension, cervicogenic headaches, or migraines that seem connected to neck tightness, this product is definitely worth trying. Highly recommend!

Long term pain relief, also great for occasional pain
Purchased almost 3 years ago hoping it would give me some relief from the near-constant neck pain I was having following a car accident. I’ve been using it every day, for almost three years, for one ten minute session (laying on back, knees bent and arms outstretched past my head, with the device making contact right where the back of my head and my neck meet). Once in a while I may use it for a second ten minute session if I’ve got a particularly stubborn crick in my neck. You know you’re doing it right when parts of your back and neck pop at random throughout the ten minutes. For me personally, my neck gives one final, satisfying pop once the ten minutes is up and I pull the device out from under my neck. I still have neck pain and have come to accept I always will, but this thing has helped tremendously in the long term, and also gives immediate relief when I’m having a particularly bad neck day. Oh, and it holds up very well, physically, considering how inexpensive it is (photo is of my 3 year old device, which I’ve used for more than 180 hours if you do the math). Great value and definitely recommend for anyone who deals with moderate to severe neck pain or stiffness on a regular basis.

The doctor I work for recommended this. Great for neck. Less pain and more movement
This neck relief cushion has been a game changer for me. As an occupational therapist, I’m constantly on my feet, working with patients, documenting on the computer, and spending too much time looking at my phone. Like many people, I carry a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders, especially after long workdays. This cushion is incredibly easy to use. All you need is a comfortable surface—whether it’s the floor, a bed, or a sofa. I would use it for a few minutes each day while reading, watching TV, or simply relaxing. With consistent use, I noticed less neck pain, improved mobility, and reduced stiffness. The key is moderation and consistency. A few minutes once or twice a day worked well for me. I originally learned about this type of device from an orthopedic surgeon I worked with, and I can see why it is often recommended. It’s simple, convenient, and fits easily into a busy schedule. Overall, this is a great product for anyone dealing with neck tension from computer work, phone use, long hours at a desk, or everyday stress. Easy to use, effective, and a great addition to a daily self-care routine. The cushion does not weigh. Easy to travel with. Great value for your money.

Be careful!!
I purchased this device about two months ago to correct my posture, which was contributing to problems with my shoulder. Initially I found it very helpful. It was comfortable to use and I noticed improvement in my posture. However, about a month ago I stayed on it for a longer period of time, probably around 10-15". Since then I have been experiencing an increasing level of vertigo, to the point where I cannot walk without holding onto something or someone. After contacting a family member who is a chiropractor, I learned that this is due to a shift in the crystals in the ear canal and is correctable by using the "Epley maneuver." Hopefully that is the case. She also said that this device should only be used by someone who is receiving regular chiropractic adjustments. FOLLOW UP: I posted the above review on 9/4/23. The following day I was contacted by the seller apologizing for the difficulty I experienced and offering me a full refund. I was quite impressed by the professionalism of the seller in reaching out to me and offering a refund, which I had not even requested. However, I chose not to accept the offer because my problem occurred as the result of not using the product correctly per the instructions. My husband assisted me in performing the Epley Maneuver (we watched a YouTube video) and my vertigo rapidly improved. Once I resume chiropractic treament, I plan to beginning using this product again according to the recommended guidelines, as I was truly beginning to see benefits.

AMAZING Neck Pain Relief, Less Numbness in Hand
BE PATIENT - IT’S WORTH IT! WORKS!!! I absolutely LOVE this thing. I have cervical bone spurs, and cervical disc bulge at C3-C4, pressing on nerves that run down to my right hand, and incredibly tight neck muscles and traps. During the pandemic lockdown my pain and numbness was the worst. I was working a stressful job and getting little sleep. My right arm was weaker than the left, and my right hand would be numb for 30 minutes after waking up each morning. I was scared. The MRI showed the physical issues above; the doctor recommended a steroid shot and said I may need surgery one day. I put off the steroid shot, figuring I should try physical therapy first. I also completed my contract, got a less stressful job, and started sleeping more. I tried stretched but they were painful, and sometimes seem to make things worse. I don’t think I was doing them right. But when I started using this device, I couldn’t BELIEVE how effective it was. Every time I use this regularly, it’s like I’m buying myself days or weeks of pain relief. AND extra mobility— I can twist to look behind when backing up my car without stabbing pain now. IMPORTANT TIP: when I first got it, it hurt a lot to relax my neck in that position. My neck was so tight it felt like it was made of hot piano wires that were about to explode. No joke. So I would only stretch on the floor with it for 30 seconds, twice a day. Then I gradually increased to a minute, once or twice a day. Another review here helped - it suggested to breathe slow and deep, gentling letting go, let gravity do the work, as you are able to tolerate it. Eventually I would put headphones in, choose one relaxing song that was about three minutes long, and use that as my timer. I’ve been using it for about 6 months now, and my necks so much better that I only need it 1-2x per week now, for about 3 minutes. I’m almost convinced that all I needed was gentle, gradual, decompression, not surgery and steroid shots. Anyway, time will tell. For now, I’m sticking to this routine, and recommend it to anyone with neck and upper back pain. Thank you for making this stretcher!!

Amazing! Two levels of traction! So easy.
Amazing! I’ve been struggling with shoulder/neck tension and pain for years. I’ve had X-rays and know that there is no skeletal reason for my discomfort. I always feel an uncomfortable pressure or tugging sensation around my cervical spine (I’m sure it’s from posture/screen use). For a long time I’ve used a complicated neck traction device that attaches to my door. I could get some traction but it was super awkward and annoying to use and the head strap really hurt my ears. That sucker is now going to be donated. I finally started seeing a massage therapist to work on my shoulders and neck which is REALLY helping. She suggested I borrow this Restcloud device. I took it for the weekend and immediately bought one. It gives me so much relief. One thing that is not clear at all in the terribly translated booklet that ships with it, is that there are two ways to use this. The most visually obvious direction is the “most traction” direction. If you turn it the other way it’s more mellow and for those who are really tight might be the right starting point. The booklet does sort of try to mention this but it’s not clear and looking at the device you might not intuitively understand that you can use it in both directions. I LOVE the stronger traction side, and that’s all I’ll use, but it’s worth noting for those who might find that side too much at first. When I use this for the recommended 10 minutes I genuinely feel that I stand straighter afterwards. I also don’t have the sore tugging on my cervical spine. I think my neck has been craving this sort of relaxation for years!!

Good quality neck support
I gave this a go as I had been struggling with neck and upper back pain. At first it feels very large on the back of your neck but stick with it, once you fully relax your head, neck and shoulders it feels so good. Too good in fact. The instructions state that it should be used for around 10-15 minutes then removed, but honestly I almost fell asleep. I found it more comfortable than my pillow. I would sleep on this but the warnings say not to. Regardless, it's great for stretching out your neck and provides much needed relief.
