I just had to write a review because I got three of these locks in 2017 and it is now 2026 and I am still using mine on my locker at work. The other two were for my kids at school when they were little and they kept forgetting their number locks combinations. These locks were great because my kids never forgot what word they chose. And obviously they are long-lasting.

This is a great lock. It is nicely unique and easy to find the locker because it's different! It was easy to change the combination and it's nice to be able to unlock with a word. It makes it easy to remember. The ONLY (and it's a small) tiny issue I have is that it can be a bit snug to get into the locker hole. But I've gotten used to it, so it's not so bad! Just be aware that it might be a bit challenging for some locker types.

I've now been a member of a fitness club that is way out of my budget for a little over a year now. In this past year, I managed to lock my keys in the locker not once, but twice. While they evacuated the women's locker room so a man could break the second lock off, I thought to myself "maybe it's time I commit to a combination lock." I'm terrible with numbers but I'm pretty good with words. I've got to say, I love this lock. Please note three things: 1. The lock I received was fuschia, not blue. I would've liked the blue more, but I don't really care. 2. They give you a list of words to choose from. I thought I was going to get to be painfully obvious and use my dog's name (Olaf) for the combination, but that was not an option since not every row has all 26 letters of the alphabet. 3. The white enamel is starting to chip from being thrown around in my gym bag, but again, I don't really care. It serves its purpose. If I manage to screw this lock up then I'll cancel my membership to the gym.

Super simple directions and they come with a huge list of possible words. We actually used a word not listed but it works for our particular odd family vernacular. I didn’t receive the color in the listing but honestly didn’t really care. Just a heads up if you want the exact one. Very sturdy…I mean…it’s a Master Lock. I’ve been using a Master brand since the 90’s. Always reliable! Great price and easy to “program” to your custom word.

I purchased this lock several months ago, but waited to review it, in order to see if it would continue to work under daily use and abuse. Now, having used it and abused it since June, I can state that it performs flawlessly. I use it at the YMCA on a daily basis, and have dropped it on the hard flooring several times. Although nicked and scratched up a bit, there's no loss in performance and nothing has come loose. Several reviewers stated that this lock was a piece of junk and prone to falling apart; I suspect that they received a defective one, as I've had no issues whatsoever. I love the fact that you can use words to set the combination lock. Words are so much easier to remember than numbers, and if you want to change the word, it's simple to do so. The lock is very sturdy and just as trustworthy as the old fashioned Master locks. Apparently the color choices are sent out randomly, but I was lucky and received the blue one that I wanted. The bottom line is that this is a fantastic lock, and at least for me, it works perfectly. I would highly recommend this to anyone who prefers a word to a number combination lock.

I know there's a bunch of negative reviews, but personally I haven't had any issues with this lock at all. Granted I don't use it on an extremely regular basis... but it seems to work fine when I do use it. I like that it feels chunky and that changing the code wasn't a huge ordeal. It's quite easy (especially if you've changed other number or word locks in the past) Also, it does give you a lot of word options to choose from. Why people are complaining that they can't spell certain words is beyond me.... Seriously... They can't put every word combination on a NON-DIGITAL dial lock... You just need to stop. Probably the ONLY thing I don't like is that color choice isn't an option. If it were hanging in a store, you'd be able to fish through and find the one you wanted. So that's kind of a bummer.... but it's not enough to remove a star. Why? because THE PRODUCT is fine. That being said, the lock is solid & works great for me! No complaints so far!

Bémol important , le cadenas que j'ai reçu a déjà été ouvert et , bien que "comme neuf" , c'est très désagréable de recevoir un objet d'occasion . De plus on ne peut pas choisir la couleur (si oui , je n'ai pas su faire)
