All of the reviews are for entirely different products, who havs actually purchased / used the hose splitter being sold?

I have used it. Mine developed a small leak around the coating. Would not recommend.

Is this a high flow splitter? many of them close the flow way back - sometimes so much that my putt-putt sprinkler quits putt-putting.)
