Great lock despite it being cut off my conex box!
First off, no matter how much security you put on your box, someone determined to get in will find a way.This may sound odd but I'll be buying this product again despite it having been compromised on my box and all my stuff stolen.I have a security camera and it took the axxhole over an hour to defeat the lock. He didn't try to attack the lock itself but the "arms" on the side of the lock which wrap around the locking bars. It appeared he used some kind of scissor tool (large bolt cutter) and maybe a battery powered angle grinder. Regardless, this little guy put up a hell of a fight and held on until the end.Overall, lock was good and secure. I had it about a year in the rain and sun. Fit and finish was good. No surface rust but a little from inside the sliding portion. When you apply it, be sure to angle it slightly so any water which gets inside drains out.Good product and worth the money. I also had locks on the metal tabs which took almost no time for the guy to cut off.

testing this now in the most extreme environment possible
in a mostly unsupervised location in the north Bay Area, California! If this thing keeps the local and thoroughly "entitled to someone else's stuff with no fear of prosecution" local "wildlife" out, itll be worth 10x its weight in gold. It goes on easy and feels solid. Lets revisit this review in a year and if our stuff hasnt been looted, Ill add another star!
