Eaton 9521WS Aspire Screwless Wallplate, 1-Gang, White Satin

With so many switches out there, finding the perfect one that fits both my aesthetic and functional needs is a bit of a challenge... I guess its a bit of a 'holy grail'!! Eventually I found 2 dimmer switches that I love. The Lutron Sunnata is gorgeous, sleek and very functional with its touch lightbar... Sadly the Lutron Claro wallplates that comes with it, is not as perfect... It is 2 pieces sandwiched together which leaves a seam around the edges that is difficult to clean... (I know.... I'm fussy!) The other switch that I love is a the Elegrp Smart Switch - however that also comes with an unattractive wallplate... Believe it or not, colorwise, it is often hard to get a decent match for white switches! However, this Eaton wallplate is really lovely and works really well with both of the above mentioned switches... Having consistent wallplates really helps to make a more seamless look if you end up having to use more than one switch type.. It is slightly larger than the typical wallplate but not too much. Colorwise it is not too bright that it looks weird. Overall, the best I have found...

Sometimes you just get sick of screws. This is one way to reduce the number of screws you see each day. Replace your old fashioned decorator wall plates for these screwless wall plates. They still attach to decorator style outlets and switches with screws, but the visible wall plate itself then snaps into the screwed on, attached bracket. The look is clean, and these are really simple for a DIYer to install on their own (caution you should turn power off to the outlet or switch you'll be working on, since you will be exposing wiring to install). After a year or so, these have not discolored, cracked or otherwise given me any problems. They are super easy to clean, match the color of Cooper switches and outlets perfectly, and are great!

I've bought some from Lowes and Homedepot, and most are not as seamless as this product. I've replaced my whole house with the Cooper Aspire Screwless Wallplates and love them. While I replaced all my outlets and switches along with the Wallplates, these do not require you to unscrew the existing outlets to put the insert behind them. These also fit much better and are flush to the wall, while other brands were not one solid piece on the sides and gave a "layered" look. I've also found these are easier to take off than other brands (yet secure enough I can't pull/pry them off with my hand) if you ever need to paint or replace the outlet.

Edit: Revising my initial review about seeing the up arrow from the outside. You can see it when you're holding it in your hand, but you can't see it at the height the receptacle is mounted at....unless you're a toddler. From the front, you can see the "up arrow" that is printed on to the back. Wish I had never seen it. Now I'm going to see it every time I look at these things.

I just ordered 10 of them @3.99 each with free shipping. I'll update my review when they arrive. I've bought these from Lowes before and they look great and are easy to install. What I like most, besides the fact that they are screwless, is that they are slightly oversized, compared to usual wall plates, and cover the outlet box and wall better, especially when there are slight wall imperfections around an outlet box. UPDATE: They arrived 2 days after ordering. Great service! I installed 3 of them so far and they look great, as expected. UPDATE #2: I ordered 10 more and they were delivered just as fast as before!

These are a nice way to dress up any room! Inexpensive and easy to install, there was nothing not too like! Will buy them again!

I really like these wall plates. They have a nice, clean look, both because they cover an appropriate amount of space and because the sides cover all the way to the wall. In contrast, the ones I found at Home Depot were smaller in coverage and had a clunky looking side that showed very visibly and clearly where you could pry the screwless plate from the attachment underneath.

Long story short, the one gang silver granite plates do not match other silver granite plates. How can they pass this off as the same color and finish? Disappointing. Returning.
