Accutane users, this is the one!p
10 years ago I was on accutane and one of the side effects is that it dries out your whole body, most annoyingly—your lips, to the point of the skin breaking and even bleeding in the corners. I had to make certain I had some kind of lipbalm on me at all times and I was having to reapply it every 15 minutes or my lips felt like they were going to fall off. Nothing seemed to soak in or make any lasting difference and I tried a LOT of brands. Someone from an accutane support group recommended this to me.This is the real deal. This has been my ride-or-die for 10 years. I give it as a gift to friends. Yes, it’s pricey, but a little goes a long way and you won’t have to reapply nearly as often so really it’s saving you money. Put it on at night and you’ll wake up with moistened lips, use it during the day too. It’s good. Get it.

Best Lip Balm Ever
I have used Qtica balms and lotions for a long time and this lip balm is my favorite. It hydrates my lips through all seasons. I am one of those unlucky people who has gotten cold sores my whole life. The product does not claim to help with cold sores; it seems to have helped with mine. I used to get really bad cold sores several times a year - usually in the winter. Since using this lip balm (ten years+), I get one little bump maybe once a year. I put the balm on once before I go to bed at night and sometimes during the day if I am out in cold air or sun in the summer. It has a mild neutral scent and flavor (I do not eat the stuff, but it is lip balm). I only suggest products to family and friends when they are stellar, and this lip balm is something I give as a gift and tell everyone about who struggles with dry lips.

Kinda expensive, but well worth it!
As a guy, I tend to avoid buying over-priced "beauty" products--especially when there are usually comparable products available at a fraction of the price. However, I embarked on a desperate search for a miracle lip balm, because my lips were beyond chapped. They were completely dried out, cracked, and frequently bled. Basically, my lips were in really bad shape and it got to the point where I became extremely self-conscious about them.I tried lots of different lip balms during my desperation. Failed attempts to repair my lips include, but are not limited to: EOS Tangerine Medicated Lip Balm Sphere, .25-Ounce (Pack of 3), Chapstick Lip Balm Medicated, 0.15 oz (Pack of 3), Blistex lip medex, lip moisturizer - 12 x 0.25 oz, Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm Lemon & Chamomile, Neosporin Lip Health Overnight Renewal Therapy, 0.27 Ounce (Pack of 2), Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm Tube, .15-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 4), Kiehls - Lip Balm #1 - Tube - .5oz.., Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Lip Moisturizer, SPF 15, 0.15 Ounce (Pack of 2), and many others... Of these, Jack Black Intense Lip Therapy seemed to work the best, but I still wasn't particularly thrilled with the results. (and many of the others didn't work at all). When I came across Qtica, I was impressed by the volume of very positive reviews, but I was still reluctant to pull the trigger, because (as a guy) I thought that the price was insane for a tiny tube of lip balm. Desperation eventually got the better of me, and I decided to buy Qtica (and paid nearly twice the price of anything that I had previously tried)... Ultimately, it was the BEST money that I have ever spent on lip care. I put a thick coat of Qtica Lip Repair Balm on over night, and when I woke up the next morning I immediately saw results. Don't get me wrong, my gross lips hadn't completely healed after one nighttime application, but the results were definitely visible. I continued to apply the stuff about 3-4 times a day (including a thick coat before bed), and after my first full week of use, my embarrassingly damaged lips had almost completely healed. By the end of the following week, my lips looked soft, healthy and quite kissable. To sum up, this lip balm is absolutely amazing! It's well worth the money and I can't praise Qtica enough. Yes, it's expensive lip balm... But if your lips are damaged, don't let the price deter you. Rather than buying lots of less expensive (and less effective) products, just buy this... You'll be happy you did.

I have been using this for 25 years.
This is an amazing product! I have used it for many years now. If your lips are severely chapped, bleeding and cracking put a thick layer on at night and apply a sparingly several times throughout the day. Once your lips have healed you only have to use a generous amount at night and your lips will not have any issues the following day. When you apply it for daytime use use a very small amount and rub it in. I have seen many people use it and put way too much on their lips. Nighttime is the perfect time to apply a generous amount. The only thing I do not like is that you can not leave it in your car when it’s hot or cold. It separates when it gets cold and it gets hard to apply it will not come out of the tube and what does come out is the oil in it. The oil still works to moisturize. When it gets hot it will liquify. Once it gets cold it never really looks the same but it works the same. 1 tube will last you over 6 months more then likely depending on how much you use it. Once you get your lips healed you will use it less and less. It’s totally worth it to me and a try to make sure I don’t leave it in a cold place. The price is worth it as well.

Lips always feel better overnight
I have been using this lip balm for as long as I can remember and anytime my lips are really extremely chapped. I put this on and the next day they feel immediately better. Forget all the other stuff you can buy anywhere else and I never understood why people loved Carmex so much. I’m not kidding! I have never thought any of the other stuff ever worked. Do yourself a favor and buy the stuff.
