This very cuddly stuffed elephant from Vermont Teddy Bear is wonderful. It's the perfect size for me. He sits 13 inches from the top of his head to his butt. He has very soft fur and seems very huggable. As other reviewers had noted, I let him fluff out a little bit and gave him a good shake to rearrange his stuffing. When you get him, he is very compressed inside a plastic bag. I got him through Amazon smile so I could support my charity, otherwise I would have ordered him directly from VTB I also brushed through his hair with my hand oh, there was a lot of loose hair but no more than to be expected. I really appreciate the Vermont Teddy Bear lifetime care. This is a great elephant, not too big and not too small. He has a nice, benign expression. I bought him as a gift for myself. I love elephants, he's great. Yes, he's not cheap but sometimes you get what you pay for! The elephant's name is Tina, BTW! UPDATE: I bought the giraffe directly from Vermont Teddy Bear a few weeks ago. He is very cute and cuddly, just like his VTB elephant friend. My rather large cat helped me measure him from the tips of his antlers to his feet. As an added extra bonus Ralph the giraffe makes an excellent tablet holder for when I watch movies on my Kindle Fire! I just lay his tummy on my tummy and I'm good to go. I imagine these OH So Soft critters would make nice travel pillows for car rides or airplanes. I would take a very fine pair of manicure scissors and CAREFULLY trim around the giraffe's eyes. Maybe!

bought this for my bestfriend for his bday and needless to say he loves it:D he sent me the pic attached and its a little scruffy but its just well loved thats why super soft, its like the perfect size to hug, im 14 and its allllooossttttt the size of my torso if that gives any reference

Got this cat for my son as his first stuffed animal the day he was born and he has not spent one night without it. He will be six in a month in a half and so will this cat. We ordered a second one as a “just in case” two years ago and it’s living in a box in the basement. Though the color has faded a bit, it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Six years of wear and tear and only had one small mending a year ago on the back seam. It’s super soft and comfortable to sleep with.

Got this pink bunny for myself. Was going through a very difficult time and needed something to comfort me. My grandmother recently passed and at her funeral. i’ll put a little bunny in her coffin with her. I had gotten it for her years ago. And I got this bunny for myself so now we are bunny bonded for life. I chose Vermont teddy bears because they have a lifetime guarantee if anything happens to it, they will replace it or fix it for free. I needed that reassurance just in case if something happened to it, I would be devastated. This pink bunny did not disappoint. It is so fluffy so soft and has the perfect little face. if you are on the fence about purchasing from Vermont teddy bear jump off the fence it’s perfect. You won’t be disappointed.

I have the Vermont Teddy Bear Oh So Soft Fox, he's soft but not the softest plush. To compare, the Douglas Francine Fox ($13.95) has softer denser fur than this Oh So Soft Vermont Teddy Bear Fox. The VTB Fox does have softer denser fur than the Aurora Grand Flopsie Fiona Fox ($21.95). At the moment I would say the Douglas company has a higher quality and is the softest fur plush of the stuffed animal brands I have tried recently, though unfortunately most of their plush seems to be on the small side and not great for adults. I also prefer the longer fur on this VTB Fox or the Douglas Fox rather than the shorter material that Jellycat or Squishmallow plush have which is soft but doesn't have that fur length you can really sink your fingers into for that texture. Photos attached to this review include the Douglas Francine Fox, the Vermont Teddy Bear Oh So Soft Fox, and the Jellycat Bashful Fox Cub ($25) for size reference and a video to show the fur quality of the VTB Fox. This VTB fox is well stuffed so it is huggably dense without feeling understuffed saggy or overstuffed too firm, it has some weight beads in the rump which is also nice and adds a good weight and feel. It is a decently large plush and fits well in the arm, though I bought this for myself as an adult so in an ideal world it would be a little bit bigger for holding at night (this size is probably a perfect size for a child/teen). Upon receiving this plush I spent probably an hour with a needle and comb to pick out the fur that had been sewn into the seams which is a little dissapointing since this is on the more expensive side of the plush spectrum for its size and I was hoping for a quality on par or better than the Douglas Francine Fox. There was a spot on the face where not all of the fabric had been sewn and the seam was misaligned but I know how to sew and it was a fairly quick fix. The muzzle on the face is sewn on a bit crooked with it rotated to the right it would be cuter if it was more symmetrical/straight. All in all a nice plush, good weight, good size, good design/proportions, cute, decent softness, good quality though not the highest quality of fur fabric (could be a lot worse though!), and perhaps a little lacking on the details such as the sewing that would have been nice at this price point. __________ I hope others find this review helpful, and I am continuing the hunt for a large adult sized high quality plush that has long dense super soft fur.

I bought this in memory of my sweet gray tabby who unexpectedly became ill and had to be put down in the last week. He lived a good long 15 years, a healthy life with a short illness at the end. He was constantly by my side, and I will miss him dearly. I will keep him by my side as I drift off to sleep just like my Clyde was always there. Nice quality, well-made.

Tubby Monkey (what I named my monkey) came perfectly soft and fluffy in an "air-hole" marked Vermont Teddy Bear Company box. I have been meaning to invest in a VTBC stuffed animal for a long time and recently finally purchased the monkey. It was worth every penny. Monkey is a great size for cuddling, and younger kids could even lean up against him as a pillow in car rides or trips. He is very soft and the color is nice. I highly recommend this product to any person of any age, but if I was gifted a VTBC stuffed animal as a kid I would probably keep it forever. If you wanted to you could probably fit baby/toddler clothes on him if you wanted to dress him up as a gift for a kid. They circulate different kinds of animals all the time so if you're waiting on a new or different type of animal they change them frequently. My only issue was a few tiny threads have pulled out but that's only by the seams under the arms. This monkey is a perfect cuddly companion!
