A turkey baster is a turkey baster.

I needed a heat resistant baster and thought these would fulfill my needs but upon receiving them I was immediately disappointed. They have great suction but the barrel is made of plastic. I am sure that the plastic is heat resistant but I couldn’t justify keeping them because I felt they were extremely overpriced. My local dollar stores have similar products at almost 1/3 of the cost. I am returning them. YMMV.

For what this baster is i can get the same thing from a Dollar Store so if you do not care about this high price then go for it. There are better quality ones out there and you do pay for them, this is not a higher quality and was cheaper but i could have paid $4-5 for it at a Dollar Store, can't be bothered to return it.

Bought this turkey baster, used it once and the was then no longer usable. The clear tube portion is, like many, two pieces of molded plastic fused together, however, the fuse was poorly done and began to leak air after one use causing it to lose suction. It wasn't repairable (in a food safe manner) and became garbage. Look elsewhere for a baster, and steer clear of this one.
