It only takes about 20 minutes to remove the old grille, swap the parts and reinstall. If memory serves, 4 bolts and 2 nuts hold on the grille. After they are removed pull from the corner near the blinker on each side, then it pops free. The rest is just unscrewing and removing clips and nuts and the middle piece from the old grille and reinstalling them on the new. To reinstall line up the clips on the grille and press into the body of the h3, there are 2 on each side. Then reinstall the bolts and nuts removed earlier to remove the grille. Slowly lower the hood to ensure it closes without impacting the grille. It looks good, but there is a larger gap between the grille and the hood than the oem unit. The finish looks great, but it is a slightly different black than the h3. Plan on ordering some of the oem grille clips, it's not uncommon for one to break when removing and reinstalling the grille.

Very easy to install, all you need is a 10mm deep socket, and 10” extension. Just 4 bolts, 2 nuts to remove old assembly and install new. There are clips that you can reuse from the old grill. I would advise going ahead and buying the 4 new white nylon clips as the old ones break easy from age.You can Google “Hummer H3 white grill clips set of 4” and find several sources for these.

Well made, easy to install and looks great. Manufacturer should include mounting hardware which was not provided. Otherwise, I am pleased with the purchase.

I received this chrome grill for my 2006 H3 in February. The body shop here was booked until April so the return date from Amazon had expired in mid-March. Unfortunately, it did not fit properly and kept "popping" out of its clips because the curvature was not quite right. Ended up getting a factory replacement (for over 3 times the cost) but the GM one works. Stuck with this one now.....maybe I'll hang it in my garage as a decoration......LOL.
