can this be used on an electic stove with pig tail elements?

I use mine on my electric stove. BUT we measured to make sure it would fit over 2 burners to distribute even heat, before purchasing.

Is it Dishwasher safe

Don’t recommend dishwasher because there is too much soap. I have a special scrubber made especially for cast iron. (Amazon… KITCHEN-PRO Cast Iron & Pyrex & Stainless Steel Skillet Chainmail Scrubber) Works great with just a TINY drop of soap (I use Ivory liquid) then rinse well. I also use a cast iron scrubbing brush for hard to reach areas. Make sure you dry the pan well and that all it needs.
