By happy with this mat. Protects deck and looks great under chimnea. Wish I had gotten the bigger one.

Perfect size for a nice fire. Easy to assemble and is holding up well!

The mat is a great size and thickness but, as soon as I took it out of the package, it started to flake almost invisible fibres which prickled our hands. It has been a few days now and I still feel the painful fibres like slivers in my hands. Because we were fearful of asbestos in the material we didn't go any further with the mat and returned them. I don't see any mention of asbestos in the description but we don't want something that is difficult to handle and potentially dangerous.

Made of fiberglass and couldn't hold with bear hands. Would not call this a silicone mat personally. It did prove to be fire proof, but failed to prevent my camp stove from burning the tent floor underneath even with a half foot of air space. Damage to tent was minimal scorching, but still expected better. This has it's uses... But to be honest I feel like the description was rather misleading. Would not use this under anything that holds fire....maybe in front of a fireplace though.

Use this for both my smoker and grill. Works great, lit charcoal didn’t burn through like other mats. Highly recommended.

I used the mats for tent stove and firewood.they briten up my tent!
