I am a puppeteer and do a lot of building workshops. In the past I have used popsicle sticks or plastic spoons. Popsicle sticks are too small and I really wanted to use more sustainable and renewable options moving forward so decided to try these out!These spoons were absolutely perfect! Children could use Kranz, colored pencils, washable markers, paint or anything pretty much on them. They dried very quickly and they also worked with stickers adhere to them it was the best option I’ve come across and will be using these most definitely for all all of my stick people workshops!

I would not buy this again. Just the design is not practical as phone. It reminds me a little bit of those smaller ones. Spoons are used to get with ice cream cups.

Purchased for a class project. Had several left over and have used a few of them to eat my soup with. Good price and very sturdy.

This spoon was perfect for dipping in chocolate and adding marshmallows! It's a sturdy spoon with a long enough handle for the cups!

Although this is a spoon, the depth of the spoon head is somewhat shallow. I decided to break out my caliper measuring tool, so you can see the measurements:2mm depth of spoon head (0.09")½tsp fluid capacity (tested with water)50mm spoon head length (2")31.75mm spoon head width (1¼")110mm handle length (4.3")12.5mm handle width (½")160mm total length (6.3")1.75mm wood thickness overall (0.07")Functionally, it is the size of a teaspoon, and performs as such. Can you use it to eat food? Sure. Hey, utensils are basically just food shovels, so this will work as good as anything. However, you may find it awkward to use with soup or stew. I took off a star since the 'depth' of the spoon vanishes and becomes flat when immersed in hot food for any length of time. This is to be expected though, because it is wood--it's NOT a defect. However, it does reduce its functionality. I suspect it would work well with rice or Kraft Dinner. (Heck, if you buy the Kraft Dinner 'cups' this would likely be perfect for it!) If you're camping, you can toss the spoons into the fire if you have one going.But it would also work well with ice cream. It's a tough spoon, and the cold ice cream will only make it stronger. It's not a good choice to *scoop out* the ice cream, but it is a good choice to hand out to those eating the ice cream. Same for ice cream cakes and jello etc. This would work quite well for that kind of food. Have a child's birthday party coming up and want something disposable (yet environmentally friendly) the kids can eat cake with? This is for you.So if you want a dessert spoon, this would be a great choice. The texture of the wood wasn't smooth on the tongue, but I didn't expect it to be. It's not coarse, but you can feel a bit of 'texture'. I didn't find it off-putting. It has a nice wide handle though, which is good for children or people who have difficulty handling utensils.As long as you temper your expectations, this is a good spoon. But it's not a tablespoon, and not a good choice if you want to use it with soups or stews. I would say that its best use would be as a dessert spoon.

Value is great and one of the cheapest cost per item; but not much good if 50% brake during use - there is another brand that is nearly the same cost and they won't brake.

I love these spoons! They have a neutral taste, very sturdy and have a small spoon like dent which makes it so easy to scoop rice. Its big and durable. Very happy with this. Will be buying again for my next party
