I am a beginner boxer, learning at home. So, take from my review what you will.I started off with just gloves and noticed that my wrist and knuckles can get sore while I’m still learning the technique and body mechanics.I bought these because they have wraps to increase wrist support and gel padding at the knuckles to reduce the risk of a boxers fracture. But also, that way I can focus on body mechanics and learning the basics safely.I ordered a pair of the ones that have gel and fit like a glove and these purple that are just wraps.They do what they say they do and the other end does have the thumb hole to anchor the wrap.They come with an instruction guide, having a QR code, to teach you how to wrap the wraps.I’ve seen a few notes about the color leaking. It does come with instructions that tell you before you first machine wash them to put them in cold water with a cup of vinegar. It allows them to maintain the color.It also tells you to let them air dry after the first wash to maintain elasticityOverall, this is a basic product that does what it says it would do. I recommend.

Good long handwraps for solid protection for boxing workouts.

I like that I washed them three times and they did not fall apart. My daughter uses them every day.

Update 10/25/16: The company contacted me and offered to send me a new pair of wraps. The replacements work great (no velcro coming up at the edges) and I truly appreciate the company's willingness to go above and beyond. I will definitely purchase again and recommend to others.Original review: The velcro on these wraps is already coming up at the edges and I've only used them 3 - 4 times. I have machine washed them but hung them to dry. Other than that, they do what they're supposed to do but I avoid them and use my other wraps instead because of the velcro. Because it's coming up, it catches on the velcro on my gloves. Super irritating.

These are reasonable, however there's too much elastic in them to provide support over time. I prefer non-elastic hand wraps, but it seems nobody makes them that way any more.

I like the wraps but they have a really strong smell to them. I've washed them twice now but the odor is still very strong. I also soaked them in a vinegar water mix but that didn't help. Hopefully the smell dissipates after a few more washings. I worry the smell will rub off in my boxing gloves and cause them to stink.Update - 5/31/2024:After 7 washings they still have an odor to them
