Learn About Manson & Sharon Tate Situation Before Watching.
The first time I saw this, I didn't really appreciate it.This time around I knew more about Manson and the Tate murders. I also had a better understanding of how 'The Industry' was changing back then. Quintin laces this with symbolism which reflects that time, and he really puts you into the world back then (well, from what I have gathered as I wasn't there). The characters and cast are great. I don't know how to feel about the portrayal of Bruce Lee - seems like he doesn't like him.Above all, knowing the context makes the ending a lot more satisfying. Really good film, but if you don't know much about the context it will likely be lost on you.

It's Tarantino ...
It's Tarantino ...excelling himself of his knowledge for Hollywood of that period, that may fall by the wayside to the uninitiated ... Caprio and Pitt are equally good ... will you enjoy it, is in the eye of the beholder, I felt there was just a little bit of lack lustre here.

A new benchmark
Quiet simply, Tarantino's finest movie so far, and by far. The sense of place and time is exquisite. The California sunshine makes the colours dance and dazzle. The twist at the end feels like payback for the evil that was done there.....

A trilogy????
Such a great piece of fiction from the pulp master.Dark funny absurd and in my opinion far better than the movie with nazeeez head scalping plot.

Typical tarantino
It worries me that - like Inglorious Barsterds with the death of Hitler (sorry: spoiler alert) - that this fim is doing the same tigs over the Manson killings. There are good performances from all of the main players but it all felt a little 'glossy' without much substance

Tarrantino Gold
What a film by the master of the unexpected and a cast that delivers in spades
