Well made, works great

People complaining about this little camp toaster, don't know how to use it.Put it on the stove to heat up with some high heat. Put the toast on and rotate it as it cooks--top to bottom and front to back. Sure, it takes longer to get started than your electric toaster at home. Yeah, you're going to use up some propane. Do you want toast or not?Once it's red hot, we put a person on toast duty with tongs and make a pile of toast for the whole crew before the sausages are even done.

This actually did a pretty good job after some adaptation.1. I had to notch the bottom out in four places so it would fit on my burner. Otherwise it would just slide off to one side or another because my pan wires are wider than this toaster base. It didn't seem to compromise the structure any. I used an angle grinder to do the job.2. I read that it works best with four pieces of toast than just two. We are only two and don't need more than two at a time. So I bought 2 4x4 bathroom tiles from Home Depot (13 cents each) and using the same angle grinder, except this time with a diamond wheel (not everyone has this stuff sitting around, but I do) and cut corners off of them so the two pieces of toast would fit. Not sure how it works with four pieces of large toast.3. I took a small piece of aluminum flashing (yeah, I have that hanging around too) and cut out a little piece that can sit on top to help retain heat.TADA! As you can see in the picture, it toasted rather evenly (without any rotating as others say they have to do). And, quite frankly, after setup, it really didn't take much longer than our home electrical toaster.I would pay three times as much for a toaster I wouldn't have to adapt, but they don't seem to exist or don't have any better reviews than these cheep ones, which all look identical regardless of the seller.

Delivery took a little longer than expected, but it was worth the wait!Easy to assemble, but when the arms are folded down, it does not lie flat. However, if you want it to fold flat, just take the arms back off and put them on the bottom in the same way they were when delivered.Cooks bagels, toast & pop tarts with easy. Use tongs to flip your items while cooking so both top & bottoms get toasty brown.

Don't waste your money. poor value, it does not work. sets off smoke alarm before the toast gets brown. quality OK. I did not return it because I tried making the convection holes larger but that did not work either.

We bought this toaster to be used in our RV and it works okay (if you don't have high expectations). I may be one of those "it's all about me" people but in comparison to the broiler for toasting, it's only okay.Now, I know my dear grandmother still used her similar toaster into the seventies, but it does not mean this is great. She had an aversion to electronic appliances and we were all fine with that.I think I will put this in the "well what do we do with it now" drawer and HOPE nobody decides that Dad should have one of those stovetop toasters thingies for the RV now that he has every flashlight available in the known universe we occupy.In summary, save your money on this item and use something (anything) else.Cheers,

Worked superbly on my JetBoil Genesis, the stability was great. Now we can have bacon and eggs with toast in the morning. It makes toast and virtually takes up no room when folded.

Toasters take up too much wattage for the generator, this item solves the problem
