I really like the cap - depending on how you put it on, the handle can be on the left or right side of the mug when the spout is up. I also like the cover on the spout to keep dust and debris away from the part that your mouth goes on. The ice pack is maybe a bit small for the volume of water (I find that the water in my mug is room temperature after only a couple of hours) but it's nicer than being stuck with room temperature water. One thing I did learn the hard way is that the ice pack can't be screwed in all the way or it will block the air vent and make it hard to actually get liquid out. I did knock the Easy to Clean section by one star because there wasn't an included brush to properly clean the straw. It shouldn't be a big deal if water is the only thing you drink, but any juice, iced coffee, or other beverages that may leave perishable residues behind will need a good cleaning of the straw to keep them in good shape.

I take this jug everywhere. However, I have to be aware of how and where I set it down; if it tips over, it will slowly leak. I like the handle, the straw, and the ability to add the ice back, but that leaking issue is not ideal.

Great price, fast shipping, good quality

I washed it , and froze the tube for 4 hours. Assembled it added water and within a couple hours it was warm water. There is no insulation whatsoever. Also there is no vent hole in the top so the suction stops you from getting a full drink. It’s well made very durable but not what I wanted, I need something to keep things cold.

This is my 2nd Cool Gear bottle. I love these bottles, I fill them once a day and I'm good all day long... and the freezer stick keeps water cold longer. Highly recommend, especially if you're active or trying to get in the habit of drinking more water. Full disclosure: Had a small issue with my second bottle, and customer service took care of it within less than an hour. If anything, this interaction makes me like my bottles even more.

Doesn’t stay cold very long with the ice pack

My husband is a daily water bottle user and had been using his last Cool Gear brand water for many, many years. The handle finally cracked and he needed a new one, but didn't want any of the giant and heavy stainless steel water bottles and he really wanted a handle. We found this new style of Cool Gear bottle and he has been so happy with it!

Bought these for my husband and he loves them.
