German-English Pocket Dictionary: 70,000 words, phrases & examples (Barron's Pocket Bilingual Dictionaries) Paperback – September 1, 2015

Here is the size of the dictionary -- 6.25" x 3.875" x 1.5" -- now there is no excuse to complain about the size post-purchase. It is actually reasonably compact for a German-English dictionary with the extensive coverage of words and phrases. I bought it to take with me to Switzerland and Germany as well as to use at home while studying. If your interest is having something to squeeze into a pocket, look for a much less comprehensive dictionary. One nice feature was the downloadable German-English electronic dictionary. It even has very clear pronunciation of many German (and English) words that will help someone attempting to master speech. Being able to study using my computer and being able to look up definitions electronically I have found very handy. I have come to appreciate the large blue font used for the defined words, it makes it easy to locate words.

I love it that Barron’s puts a lot more effort into their dictionaries than others I’ve seen. I love the maps and grammar help that are a part of this volume. Very helpful. I don’t go anywhere without my Barron’s!

book came in perfect condition... better than expected. arrived early too. great book, btw- great and essential companion to rosetta stone, memrise, and duolingo.

Would have been great but honestly didn't use it all and just used the Google translate app lol

It's a bit large to carry around while traveling

It's full of English words and German words as expected.

This is not a pocket size small edition. This is a full size paperback book.TTTTT
