Simply delicious, will buy again.
It was just what I expected. "Was" because it already disappeared! LOL I enjoyed every bite, by itself, or with Provolone or Manchego cheese, On Saladitas crackers or in a "bolillo". I kept it in the refrigerator; I like its size and that it comes in a plastic container. Price is ok.

The real deal
A nice product at a fair price. My only quibble is that the packaging was inadequate and that there was some seepage as a result. Someone needs to take better care when shipping such a product.

Delicious! Never tried quince before - perfect with cheese!
I read about quince paste with manchego cheese in a book - sounded interesting but I was hesitant that I’d actually like it. But - I loved it! It is both sweet and tart as expected, but I hadn’t realized it would make plain cheese and crackers into something special. I bought thinking I’d serve to guests…but instead I’m over half-way through just by treating myself to cheese-cracker-wine evening meals by myself in past weeks 😁 Need to buy more…

Incorrect ingredients list on the photo of the packaging
The packaging for this item (as of 20 June 2022, shown on the photograph accompanying this listing) includes only these ingredients: Quince, sugar, pectin, citric acid and sodium benzoate. These are the ingredients from package I received: "Quince (58%), sugar and lemon. May contain walnuts."This product is useless to me. I'm allergic to one of the ingredients (not to walnuts, but to lemon. Yes, lemon. Really. It's not common, but it is an actual allergy.) I looked at multiple quince products on Amazon specifically searching for one that didn't contain lemon. Unfortunately I was taken in by deceptive packaging. Amazon has tagged this item as not returnable so I'm now out $12.95. Thanks a whole bunch! When are people going to realize that an accurate list of ingredients is mandatory, not just a vague suggestion?

This is a very good membrillo.
My husband loves it with Manchego cheese. This brand name, Emilie, also has membrillo with orange zest added. That is my husband’s favorite one, but I cannot find it anymore, so this plain Emelie membrillo is a good substitute. On the cons, the price is inflated.Delivery was fast. I guess because of the heatwave, one of the membrillos leaked a bit, it was so hot here these days, I guess a bit of the sugar got melted a bit but it was not a big mess and the membrillo was not affected by the high temperatures.
