Yes recommend
Perfect size for adult working from home easy to travel and work in car. Great item. A 13" sleeve was too small. Very happy. Needs a small mouse if you are doing extensive fast work.

Defect with the keyboard
I bought this computer to replace my three + year old ASUS Q200E because it blew up on me. The specs on this, on the whole, were slightly better or an overall push. I had this computer only two days before I was forced to send it back though-GOOD- I wanted something light and easily portable, and it was definitely those things. I thought the colors of the screen were vibrant as well, better than my ASUS. It was lighter and an inch smaller than my prior comp. The performance was roughly the same, sometimes maybe a hint slower or faster, but I didn't buy this for speed really and wouldn't recommend it for that. I would also say it was an attractive looking laptop on the whole.BAD- Some of the keys on the keyboard were defective and didn't work every single time I struck the key. I use my laptop five-to-ten hours a day and type a lot on it for work and general communication. After one day of working on this, I noticed that many of my words with 'p' and 'h' in them were missing those letters. I noticed with some of the keys, depending on where exactly you hit the key, it would result in it not registering a keystroke. Meaning you had to be careful when you typed (Who does this when you are typing 60+ words a min?). This was a massive frustration when trying to type out a multiple page memo, resulted in tons of errors, and slowed me down a ton. In addition, one time out of sleep mode the keyboard didn't work at all, no matter what key I struck. I put it back to sleep for a minute, brought it back, and the keyboard was working again. One thing I will say for certain, the keyboard on the whole was not as robust or hardy as my ASUS, which I never had a problem with as far as the keyboard was concerned. Bottom line, this was a brand new computer, not used, it should fully function, and I shouldn't have to hit the button three or four times or hit the key a certain special way for it to register the desired letter. In the end, I don't know if I just got a lemon, or this is a pervasive problem with this laptop? I would recommend looking into this before purchasing it though. I had a Toshiba desktop years ago I really enjoyed, had no problems with, and it lasted me years. This one though didn't cut it, I was forced to send it back, and I didn't replace it with a Toshiba either.

Very pleased
I got this laptop on sale. It's very good quality. I got mine with 4 gb of RAM, which makes it slower than I'm used to. If you can, spend the extra $ it takes and get 6 or 8 gb RAM. That has nothing to do with the product, I'm just saying. But it's small, light and I'm very happy with it. It's also the perfect size for kids to use.

This was a great computer for what it was used for which was very minimal for less than a year my extremely responsible daughter took it off the shelf to do her school work and put it back on the shelf when she was done no one else ever touch to the computer and all of a sudden at the exact 1 year mark it stopped working completely stopped working.

WARNING
Worst laptop ever. It freezes ever so often, the sound is extremely low even when the volume is at 100, the quality is crap... Just don't purchase this, the software is outdated to the point where I have to update it just to watch a YouTube video. It's not worth it.
