Simple and easy to use.
The egg timer is shiny, attractive, and simple in appearance with no buttons and switches. You just turn the top part of the timer clockwise to the desired time setting and the ringer will let you know when the time is up. What is important to know is that at the beginning you must turn the top part of the timer to the 55 minute mark and then immediately turn it counter clockwise to 0 so that you hear the ringer going off. This step is important because afterwards the ringer will work properly. Overall this timer has a very attractive design and it is easy to use. I heartily recommend this product.

Cute
Works well but I wish it was a little louder. I have a big house and I like to roam when I’m cooking sometimes.

but it takes two hands to start. Not so easy

This stopped working after just a few uses.
The ring was not very loud and then it didn't work after just a few uses.

Appears to be stainless steel
Got this because my previous timer still works but the bell does not. I like that it's small and it was easy to set. Even works if you only need to set it for a few minutes. The bell is loud enough to be heard in the same room, but I would keep it with me if you go farther than that while working.

ELEGANT IN EVERY WAY
This elegant little timer is right in every way. It has a nice—not trilling—ring that’s just loud enough to be heard in the next room. It’s easy to set and keeps perfect time. As another reviewer commented, to set it for very short periods of time, just turn the dial past the time you want (like 20 minutes), then turn it back to your time (as with all egg timers). I love it.

Knowledge is power
Once I figured out how it works I am completely thrilled! Of course it’s in the listing if you read through all of it. You have to wind it clockwise to the end & then bring it back to the actual timer selection you want. Works great !

A reminder only.....
If you need to be reminded so the fries won't burn or the Ramen won't boil over, this will suffice. However it is not super accurate on the longer settings. Easily a minutre or two off in either direction.
