Hot, hot, hot!
A very hot chili, but a "clean" hot -- not as if "spiced up" to seem hotter than it is. Caution: Go slow at first with this marvelous chili, perhaps to begin with just adding some to plain old "ordinary" chili! Excellent value, and consistent in taste and texture from pack to pack over the months and years.

Very potent
Good taste, I use 2 tablespoons, but with this I only use 1. Delish

This is exactly what is says a large bag of chili powder. A bargain for the spice. Did not give 5 only because they did not give any idea of the "heat" level of this powder on the bag. It has heat similar to Cayenne pepper for those interested.

HOT!!!!!!
I love hot and spicy, even eat raw jalapenos. But this chili powder is so hot that burns the tongue and throat to the point that you cannot taste any chili flavor. I had to throw out the batch of chili that I made with it and will be using the rest of the package to spread in my garden for pests.
